is there any difference in the psp/pspslim screens?
theres an awful lot of blurring on my regular psp, so i was wondering if the psp slim had higher refresh rates.

I've heard from a lot of people the ghosting was just as bad on the slim.
So I'm guessing no.

the screen quality seems to be about the same. each have 4 levels of brightness, the only difference is the slims screen is a little lighter weight wise. there is some ghosting but it isn't like it makes games unplayable. seems no different than the ds to me.

It's a pain in the ass for all the retro shooter collections from Konami.

they aren't half as bad when set to native resolution (s).

I like the feel of the slim a lot better than the original.

if you're serious about your modded psp for roms, the slim is the only answer

64MB RAM - no cache file creation needed for CPS2 anymore.. awesome

its just a better machine

When you guys say better D-Pad, how do you mean it?

IMO, the very best D-Pad I have ever played with, and because the D-Pad is so good, I have bought a converter for the PC and had one modded for the MVS Cabinet, is the PSX D-Pad.

Is the slim like a PSX D-Pad?

Because this phat D-Pad SUCKS. I mean outright sucks. Diagonals are damn hard to do, and if I hold down any Back + Down, it thinks I am only pressing back.

Can't play Fighters on it AT ALL. I mean, AT ALL. Simply jumping forward is hit and miss.

even though it's limited, it's still nice emulators work with the video out to a tv.

How does it look though?

I never thought about doing that, thanks for the tip!
