>> 1.50 Kernel addon for 3.71 (VERSION 2!!)

MAKE SURE you are on Custom Firmware 3.71.

Okay, so I did as you said, I put ONLY the "Version 2", and when I go to my Data in my PSP, there is a 3rd icon, a "PSP Update Ver 1.50"

I click on that, and it brings me to a black screen with a little text on the top saying I need to press Cross to start or R to exit.

I press Cross to do it, but this pops up :

"Incorrect or inexistant 150.PBP at root."



Should I download Version 1 and put it in there as well?

You need the official 1.50 FW file in the root of your memory stick before you start the installer.

It really helps to just google the word “installation” along with whatever it is you're trying to install. There are step by step guides all over the net to install most anything for the PSP.

EDIT: Wait, won't this screw up my PSP? Because I already have it hacked to 3.71, won't putting 1.50 screw that up?

EDIT2: I thought about downloading the 2.31 version of these, but google only takes me to SLIM PSP stuff..

What wolfy said. He told you exactly where to get it in post #49 of this thread. Scroll down a bit on that page to find the emus for 3.xx CFW.

Sorry, just really really tired, haven't been able to sleep well for a while now.

The reason I post so sporadically here, is because my mind is fried from the get go most days, don't even want to think about making the CPS stuff...

EDIT: Jesus christ man. You're going to laugh or cringe, whatever, but just....where do I put this 1.50 PBP? What folder?

EDIT2: Figured it out. Just put it in the main area, O: , not in any folders.

EDIT3: It works!

Now a question, do I still need that 1.50 UPDATE folder in my PSP? Because it's using up an Icon on my stick, the first Icon that shows up when I click on it (So I have this 1.50 thing, then CPS2 Icon then CPS1 icon)?

And last question for today :

So I want to delete some games from both CPS1 and CPS2. All I have to do is :

CPS1 : Delete the file each from Config & ROMS from specific Game I don't want
CPS2: Delete the file each from ROMS, config, Cache & nvram? (IE Delete the files titles CSClub from each of these folders)

Is that correct?

Yes, it turned out to be just fine. I cut and pasted them into a folder in my PC in case it didn't work, but it works great after I removed a bunch of games.

So I have 2 questions now :

1. Can I now delete the 1.50 Icon from the Stick? Because I have the 3 icons now, 1.50 thing, CPS1, CPS2. And the 1.50 thing always shows up first. I'm asking because it doesn't do anything now, I just clicked on that once to upload some program so I can play the games, and I have no need to click on it anymore.

2. Is it possible to buy and use ANY PSP Battery I want on my 3.71 M33'd PSP? I am looking at buying an unofficial battery, 3600 so I get a lot more battery time. Is it okay to buy one and use it on my modded PSP?
