Disagree. You're super pro PSP (god, there's not many of you) and most here are extreme DS. I have both, and I love both. Honestly, I only have two games on PSP because the game selection BLOWS. It blows. The system is fucking wonderful, however. I would rather get worms for this than DS, since I know there's no limitations to this as there will be on DS. But, I will say that Castlevania and Mario Kart on DS are amazing. RR is also amazing on PSP, but Mario Kart on DS... while not as pretty, fast or half as good in the sound department, is magical. It's just a top shelf game all around. If it's about the games (and it is), then DS is easily winning as of now. I love them both, but how I wish more games were on PSP. I admit that I haven't gotten Virtua Tennis yet... I bet that game's great on PSP.

LOL,and you're quite a Nintendo fanboy,yourself :glee:

Castlevania DS is a great game,I'll give you that, but saying that Mario Kart DS (AKA MK64) is "amazing" or "magical" is a bit of a stretch.

The first time I saw RR in action,my jaws dropped. Now that's amazing.

Other than MK and CV,what else are you playing on the DS?

Let me guess. Nintendogs and Animal Crossing?

I'm not a DS fan and hate Nintendo with a passion, but even I must admit the PSP library is a little sucky. It has quality games, but many of them are franchises that I never even bothered to buy the console version of. If not that, then I hear such conflicting reviews I don't know who to believe.

I like great games. RR is great, it was released with the system though. Same with hotshots, both are currently avail on the ps2. They are not games that sell systems when there are several revisions you can currently buy on the ps2.

MK ds is absolutely great, doesnt have the visual magic of RR but it doesnt need it. Gameplay is king after all and nintendo has always shined in this department. And sales reflect that. They are the number one software gaming company in the world. They also have a more diverse line of games right now. Advance wars, meteos, mario kart, animal crossing, castlevania, kirbys canvas. Sony whores there products on all there systems for extra cash. They are great at making nice hardware. They just dont have the passion for the games. (Shadow of the colossus is great though, best game they ever did first party)

I somehow knew that this was coming, lol.

I agree with you completely,Jizzy, since you're probably the ONLY Nintendo fanboy in this thread to put forth an argument with some sort of rationalization.

DS>PSP?

Nahh..

FYI,Sony perfected teh software whoring skillz from Nintendo.

Why be a complete ass about this? What's the point? Other games I'm playing: Advance Wars and Meteos, but honestly I'm playing FF4 on it more than these two. Your jaw dropped off graphics.... I never said the PSP wasn't a great system when it comes to that. Read everything I posted, not the things you want to read. I told you that RR is amazing. What more do you want from me?

All Sony has to do is give us Tekken or Virtua Fighter or Street Fighter on the PSP with full online capability and many the big N fanboys on this site will change their tune, FAST.

LOL NINTENDO FER KIIDDIES LOL I PLAY MY AWSUM PEE ESS PEE LOL

What a game0r. Shut up about your god damn stereotypes and face the facts: Nintendo has more great games than Sony does. Mario has been selling well for over 15 years and will continue to do so whether you think it's a "kiddie" game or not.

PSP is some cool hardware with some great concepts, but I haven't seen any great games for it yet. Nothing that would make me want the system. With all the developers that Sony has you'd think there would be some truly awesome games on this system, but I think they've all passed it up for the bigger bucks of the home console markets.

Anyway, I own a DS and love it. It's great man. Why you so insecure about your purhcases BIG? PSP is cool. If you love it, great. Sorry we don't all see it your way though. Variety is the spice of life man. Don't be a hater because it makes you sound like a spoiled little kid.

Yup.

If Darkstalkers is any indication, fighters will be unplayable on the PSP.

I'm buying Alpha 3, but it'll be my last purchase if they don't do something about the terrible controls.

From all accounts I've heard, take Guilty Gear as an indication rather than Darkstalkers.

I quit playing my PSP long ago... I tried to enjoy Burnout and I turned on GTA for 15 minutes...

Truth is, the library and loading times combined with the prices just turn me off...

The PSP is great for an all-in-one device - but not as a gaming machine...

I don't even use it for music, photos or video... actually, I don't even know why I keep it around...

I don't play EMU's, but its good to have around for Ridge Racer every 6 months and a few Lumines matches... no point in selling it...

Honestly, I can care less for the DS as well...

I'll never play Animal Crossing or Mario Kart - I was never a fan of either...

Maybe the new Super Mario Bros. will grab my attention - and once I'm done with Final Fantasy IV Advance I'll finally start on Castlevania DS...

I hate the design of the DS and welcome the introduction of a more comfortable version...

I don't see anything on the horizon for either system...

Now, my Micro (or the GBA library) is what gets most of my playtime when it comes to handheld gaming...

There are still a lot of games I have to pick up and lots coming out that look like great fun!

As long as you guys like your DS/PSP - thats all that matters...

I think they both suck.

Sometimes its tough being an early adopter.

The only reason for me keeping a PSP now is Star Soldier and maybe Lumines and the upcoming Gradius Portable, and now even that is a stretch.

Kingdom of Boredom sucked. FPS games on the PSP just don't work, RR is too simple, and all the rest are PS2 ports.

I want a DS now, but again I still can't stand the tiny buttons. Maybe I can mod it...
