Fatal Fury 3 Neo Geo Cart AES US Vers.

"This is an auction for a working Neo Geo Advanced Entertainment System cartridge called Fatal Fury 3. This is the English version. The cartridge, box and original instruction manual are in near mint condition. An On-line Neo Geo price guide shows the value of this item at $80-$100. The above item is exactly what the winning bidder will receive. This Ebay item contains the Game Cartridge, original instruction manual and box. I have received a large collection of over 70 Neo Geo AES game cartridges so please monitor my other auctions. There is NO RESERVE for the true spirit of an auction! Please do not ask us to end the auction early as we are committed to selling all of our cartridges on Ebay to the full length of the auction. Please do NOT bid if you have no intention of paying. Buyer pays $7.00 shipping, handling and insurance by UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail (winning bidder's choice). Funds must be received within 12 days after auction's close or appropriate feedback will be left. Methods of Payment for winning bidder: Visa & Mastercard through Billpoint, Paypal, Discover & American Express Charge Cards, US Postal Money Orders and Cashier's Checks are accepted as payment and items ship in 24 hours. Checks are accepted, but winner must wait 10 business days to clear our bank before item(s) are sent. Good luck in all of your auctions!"
This was taken from a ff3 auction, this topic, was made for one purpose to show how the price guide effects the neo scene.

Ya they started doing that after everyone and the mothers inquired about the Metal Slug cart, they are out to make as much money as they possible can.

Thats the sad thing, that this money grubing and what not will most definately kill the scene, if neo carts arent affordable for neo HC system owners, then how will they acquire some of the best games....Just very glad, I can afford these "ass gouging prices"
To bad Bill left the scene

It wouldn't be the death of the scene, if only people actually started to use common sense and realize that there is no need to spend all that money for a game. Then, people who do want to sell games will have no choice but to lower prices.

Of course, that's hypothetical... this will never happen, for there are plenty of people who think that collecting Neo Geo games is like some sort of stock investment. This is probably the only system where some people actually get games just to resell them at higher prices, and not to actually play them.

Case in point... NOBODY was interested in Gowcaiser as a game they would play... now everyone wants one.

One could argue it the other way as well. I dont think that raising the collective price of the Neo Geo game hurts the Neo scene. I think it helps it. Now befor you get pissed off and yell at me let me say why, please keep reading. The more unattainable something is the more interest in having it there is, like GOLD. If gold were common our ecconomy would be weak. Likewise is Neo Geo. If they were 50 cents at every garage sale like atari games, you may have more and be a pig in s#it enjoying playing them, but thats all they would be worth. I for one would like to see Neo games retain their god like status as king of carts, for in value rarity and enjoyablity!

Not true, I played Travis's copy at shodown tournament in Georgia a few years back.
I wanted a copy ever since. Now that I have a copy I do play it. It may not be the best
by any means, but I enjoy older fighters.
Its just fun.

Voltage fighter is not the best game by any means, but it does have its strong points, the camera is good, the backgrounds are great. It is just a little slow on the fighting side of it, it would have been nice if the game had faster and better controls.

HEY1 DREAMH2O, I have an ENGLISH copy of gowcaizer left to sell and it is BRAND NEW.
SAMURAIX got one from me and he is very happy. let me know if you are interested.

I think alot of you are right. that whole slew of auctions that that guy put up(includuing the metal slug)were tainted because of that price list and the fact that it was posted up on these forums(sheer stupidity).
I think it is time we do away with all the price lists. it would do us all alot of good.

Ebay affects allot of things. I remember a local seller had an ad in the paper for a centipede arcade machine. I think it was in okay condition and he wanted $850+ for it. He said "well these things go for about $1200 on ebay".
