Right on. Are there forums for Sega games similar to this forum with a market place with fair prices for games?
Looks like the Japanese Mega Drive Alien Soldier is well above $200 on ebay.

Sega-16 and Assemblergames has a big Sega following.

I got it from a member of the speedrun commununity myself. I got a couple offers for cart only for $110ish range, but for $135 I got it CIB and yes the price is pretty ridiculous on Ebay. Not to mention the number of fakes to watch out for, I was real patient for this one.

Unfortunately I wasn't happy with a B board with a crack on the top shell but for the price I got them for I cant complain.

I also received 2 boxes of arcade chassis and a box of non jamma harness for boards.
