I've been a human ant in the past.I rescued a Visio & Samsung Flat screen, both 32".I actually returned the Samsung because the quality of the Vision was so much better...and flat screens can pile up on you.I'd assume not, you are Big Bear after all
You know you just have to dry it out before turning it on…I've been a human ant in the past.I rescued a Visio & Samsung Flat screen, both 32".I actually returned the Samsung because the quality of the Vision was so much better...and flat screens can pile up on you.
I'm going to look into getting a WEGA..I was almost able to get one for free but the rain beat me to it unfortunately...

Nooooo..Too heavy to chance it..it's got some serious weight to it so I need to be at least 75% sure that bad boy will give me something. You know you just have to dry it out before turning it on…
I picked up a 27” flatscreen crt recently, off craigslist. The picture is amazing for old-school systems.

The Neo is connected through S-video in the back of the tv. The composite is currently just going to a switch box, in case I want to use it for other systems.RCA leads? Couldn’t scrounge up s•vid even?

RGB mod or GTFO!The Neo is connected through S-video in the back of the tv. The composite is currently just going to a switch box, in case I want to use it for other systems.
All hail the OLED.Fuck crts
You live inside a hong kong coffin or wut?I haven't owned one for a decade
How much does it weigh?Worst hobby ever picked up this dinosaur for 20 dollars. I forgot how heavy these TVs were
Why are WEGAs so good? The one or two I've seen, don't have RGB (SCART) inputs.I'm going to look into getting a WEGA..I was almost able to get one for free but the rain beat me to it unfortunately...

CRTs fuck.
I keep a small 14' one around just because but truth be told with all the console mods and things like the retrotink I'm starting to think they are becoming obsolete.
All hail the OLED.
Yeah, 27" is my person limit solo. Most of the 27" crt's are sub 100lbs. The 36" sony can be around 200. If you can't pick that up by yourself then I'm very sorry for your weakness
Yea the 27" is easy for me, the 36" takes a bit more technique and my lifting belt just to be sure hahaYeah, 27" is my person limit solo.
Same X1,000No I have had amongst the best and I'd still rather not have one ever again
so are boobs, but I like to look at them...I'd love a big ol CRT, but it's pure novelty at this point.
Because they’re beautiful, magical and relics of an era gone by.Why people think they (generally speaking) need a CRT for retrogaming these days is beyond me.
