Whats with the hate for VHS? Don't you guys like watching media on an objectively terrible format?

I've got lots of stuff I need to post. Just scored a Japanese SSV (not Special) MVS cart for $83. Seems like a good deal to me, but I'm out of the loop.

I grabbed SSV full kit in 2014 for $100, so $83 for cart only aint bad in 2016.

I collect 16mm films. Nearly as good as 1080p, with awesome scratches, pops, faded colors etc.

Snuff films still popular?

This just showed up today. Mobo and game from Arcade Game and IO from mjmjrmike

Very nice MVC2 and NAOMI there, is there much difference between the real arcade version and the DC version? I know the Dreamcast hardware is pretty close to the NAOMI arcade hardware apart from less perhaps less RAM, still very nice to have the real-deal arcade hardware though. Nice pick-up!

Plus I got this thanks to another helpful member. Definitely in the top 5 Neo Geo gambling games!

Honestly, I was never good enough at this game to be able to tell the difference. Regardless, it plays like a dream :D

From what I recall, the DC and arcade versions are similar. I've owned the Naomi Gd Rom setup a few times in the past and couldn't get over how messy the setup was, just too many components. A jammacast is a better option IMO.

GD Rom is much different and much more intricate than the ROM based setup (which MvC 2 is).

The cool thing about the DC version is you can edit the files and make custom colors and soundtracks, and burn it to a disc and play it in a DC

Are you suggesting "Take you for a ride" could be replaced?

How dare you, sir.

The DC version is arcade perfect. The only real difference is it unlocks characters in a different order.

Other than arcade running a little faster than dreamcast, everything else is intact as far as infinites, hitboxes, glitches and the like. AFAIK tournaments use dreamcast version.

Just got in Odin Sphere Storybook Edition. Pretty awesome that it comes with a hardcover artbook, tshirt, metal case, a art portrait, and a nifty big ass box that has awesome artwork on it (including the map of the game on the back). All for $20 more than the standard game putting all other collectard collector edition shit to shame with how expensive they usually are for shitty trinkets.

The best R-Type art imho, not so much for the x68000 port of the game though vs the ps1
