Its awesome enough that we are posting about fiending for a pressed copy of the translated version.

I don't think it is pressed unfortunately, I bought it of a guy named Jodi on the Turbografx-16/ PC Engine Facebook page. Has a really nice full color manual.

Ordered Star Fox Zero and Bravely Second on Amazon today.

Also got Spider-Man: The New Animated Series (the 2003 MTV one) on DVD and Wolverine and the X-Men complete series on Blu Ray.

I think I have all the Marvel animated series I want, except the early 90s X-Men and Spider-Man shows. Already have Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Spectacular Spider-Man on Blu Ray.

DC kicks the shit out of Marvel on the animated series front. Batman TAS/New Batman Adventures, Superman TAS, Batman Beyond, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, Teen Titans, Young Justice, Batman: the Brave and the Bold... all top tier shows.

Piece by piece, my Neo Geo improves.

There was a small hiccough with disabling the MV1C's native bios, as in doing so I accidentally shorted two pins together. But I eventually found and corrected that issue, and now everything's happy.

Also, while this controller is enormously better than the hack-job from my previous post, it still seems slightly reluctant to register 'down'. I may have to look into that.

You'll probably need to open it up, clean the white dust out and regrease the stick. There's a tutorial around here somewhere if you search. It's a pretty common issue with that pad.

hmmm... I've been wondering about those controllers. Never had one. If it's clicky like the NGPC I might just have to have one.

It's similar to the NGPC, but the stick is much larger with more travel area. I like the NGPC better.

A quick google brought up a page at Game SX describing how to get into the switches of the pad. I feel like someone may have already gone in there, though - outside the switches, at least, this pad's interior is quite clean.
I'm hesitant to pry-open the switches, but if the pad gives me too much trouble I'll have to give it a look.

If you're a heavy-handed player, you will probably wear out a CD pad in about the same time as it takes for the design gimmick becomes tiresome (ie. pretty fast). The button placement sucks as well, particularly for fighters (good luck pressing B+C together). The pad is just terrible for fighters in general because it's so sloppy (good luck pulling off specials). Actually, disregard all of the above. Bottom line is the CD pad is shit, don't buy one.

I want to like the CD pad, as it's super comfortable in the hands, and I quite like it for certain games like Metal Slug. I can't play fighters worth a damn with that dpad though, but I think part of that is because every time I get used to doing moves on the pad Down stops working. It also doesn't help that I CAN use Saturn pads on mine.

Thanks!

Just checked the MS2 and it's a conversion boot. I'm not worried at all though, I planned on getting an MS2 to turn in to MS2T and I didn't spend much on that cart :).

I thought you say you don't have enough room and prefer to go flash/everdrive................
so you still keep buying mvs carts????

agreed. i always thought that neo cd pad would of been a lot better if it had the neo pocket analogue stick.

that is cool, dude. do you have any pics of it?. my first cmvs was modified to play with saturn controllers. magnaflux wanted to but it off me.
