Pretty happy with the Andro Dunos cart. I grabbed the Spin Master and MS2 for a buddy. I'll grab another MS2 for myself later in the week.

There was a small hiccough with disabling the MV1C's native bios, as in doing so I accidentally shorted two pins together. But I eventually found and corrected that issue, and now everything's happy.
Also, while this controller is enormously better than the hack-job from my previous post, it still seems slightly reluctant to register 'down'. I may have to look into that.
A quick google brought up a page at Game SX describing how to get into the switches of the pad. I feel like someone may have already gone in there, though - outside the switches, at least, this pad's interior is quite clean. You'll probably need to open it up, clean the white dust out and regrease the stick. There's a tutorial around here somewhere if you search. It's a pretty common issue with that pad.

I'm hesitant to pry-open the switches, but if the pad gives me too much trouble I'll have to give it a look.
If you're a heavy-handed player, you will probably wear out a CD pad in about the same time as it takes for the design gimmick becomes tiresome (ie. pretty fast). The button placement sucks as well, particularly for fighters (good luck pressing B+C together). The pad is just terrible for fighters in general because it's so sloppy (good luck pulling off specials). Actually, disregard all of the above. Bottom line is the CD pad is shit, don't buy one.

Little late for that, dude.Bottom line is the CD pad is shit, don't buy one.
Thanks!
Just checked the MS2 and it's a conversion boot. I'm not worried at all though, I planned on getting an MS2 to turn in to MS2T and I didn't spend much on that cart.
It's similar to the NGPC, but the stick is much larger with more travel area. I like the NGPC better.
It also doesn't help that I CAN use Saturn pads on mine.
I thought you say you don't have enough room and prefer to go flash/everdrive................
so you still keep buying mvs carts????

Yes, with all those MVS everdrives available, you keep buying carts?!?![]()
