Original Alonzo Hustito Knifewing Zuni This piece is very special and culturally significant!

Julalita Lamy Rainbowman Zuni.

These are large pins and rare examples of two masters in this style. My girlfriend bought me both for like 210$

Similar examples probably are actually. They are in the Toshio Sei books.

That Hustito was a miracle find for 83$ shipped. I've been restoring it, but its torture to do it as it's the most prominent piece I own that I've worked on. The goal is to remove the green corrosion without harming the natural patina it's acquired. Silver is very easily scratched, so special attention is required.

I love all of those LWK. Studied a bit of anthropology from the homeland, never really expanded into the Pre-Colombo north American region but I'm always fascinated by all of it.

I imagine the really old ones must be made of gold...maybe, I dunno, I don't think the tribes of north America were known for their metallurgy in Gold.

Down the way, Central and S.A. there was so much gold and metallurgy, emeralds and gold was predominant among all the artisan work.

This ones are lacking the emeralds, which is rather sad 'cause a lot of them just got sacked from tombs and the best items taken away into obscurity forever or worse, just melted for gold coinage.

That is a banging picture dude. I saw some of that in a museum once. It was very carefully lit to. I love museums. I need to put my collection on loan in New Mexico at some point.

Alonzo Hustito pin is now free of corrosion. I had to polish off that long pin that had rust on it. The barrel came out, so I restored that. You can see the pictures below that it was corroded when I got it. Notice how I had to take special care during this to not harm the patina. Ruining the patina would be heart breaking on something this cool.

Also a bonus Zuni pin I just got in the mail today. This was about 22 shipped or so. I am trying to get a ID on this. It has needlepoint, and yes it is fun making those stones out of my Fox turquoise. Did two stones for that, both Fox mine.

I love the cover art for that game. (Scurries off to google for a wallscroll with that cover)

Anyhow, Summon Night came in! Posted the poster and everything since I know some folks will receive theirs and just store it unopened since they have the digital code.

Keio on Mega CD is thankfully a lot more reasonable than what it's going for on Sega CD.
Enjoy, wyo! A fantastic little game with an even stranger sequel on Saturn. :D
