So, @wyo, dunno if these pictures do those cables justice or not, and I don't have a capture card to give proper screen caps:

PS2 Generic RGB scart to Sony Trinitron :

Same set up but with RetroRGB cable:

PS1 Generic RGB scart cable to Sony Trinitron:

With RetroRGB cable:

For me, the new cables make the picture visibly sharper, and the colours are more vivid with less bleed. For custom cables, I'd say they were great value, and I'd recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their old scart cables.

PS2 doesn't have RGB out. It does native component YPbPr instead.

Technically, it does both.

Oh yeah, sorry. Forgot about it. I suppose my PS1 scart cable will work.

The C64 Mini wasn't a good mini, mainly because of the joysticks. Firmware update enabled multiple controller support if I remember correctly.
C64 Maxi feels so much better. Joysticks are clicky now!

Soulless is a great homebrew game. Just update your C64 Mini or Maxi!

You can also buy it here:

Reminds me of Draconus :)

What's amazing is that they're Japanese and the system flopped even worse over there because it came out after the Saturn
lol sega had no idea what they were doing

Agreed. Sega messed up with the add-ons i.e. SegaCD and the 32X. They should have just focused on the Saturn, as you say. Nintendo didn't get distracted like this, they just moved on to the next fully fledged console.

Saturn was bad too, dead from day one in the US and Europe. The arcade ports made it worthwhile in Japan but honestly who's playing ports in almost 2026 except the die hard sega fanboys

Yes but if all those Sega CD games had instead been on the Saturn it would have been a much better proposition in terms of software, launched earlier, bigger marketing budget etc. But I agree- beginning of the end for Sega consoles.
