SVC Chaos supposedly sucks for high level players. I'm not a high level player. As someone who plays fighting games against the computer most nights, and against neighbors and friends once or twice a week, SVC is a lot of fun. And I love the graphics. Especially Demitri.

I mean, let's be fair. SvC is pretty horrible.

Meme-ified is right. Did SVC Chaos kill everyone's dogs or something? It is nowhere near the worst fighter on the Neo. No, it isn't the best either, but gee there's about 50 fighters on the Neo, most of them aren't the best.

If you compare it to Capcom vs SNK and the latest from Capcom at the time, yeah, it's amazingly lackluster. If you had your expectations tempered before playing, like me, had low expectations from that iteration of SNKP at the time, and saw it more as a minor fighting release, you would be somewhat pleasantly surprised, as I was when I finally got it. So yeah, that's a lot of conditions. It's not great, but it has some good things.

The time it was released is a factor for me. On the one had, SNKP had a pretty spotty track record and so it's mediocre-ness isn't unexpected. But on the other hand, CvS 1 and 2 had already been released, SF3, Garou, KOF98, etc, etc. Even ROTD, Matrimelee, etc are much better efforts.

No it's far from the worst fighter on the Neo, but it's also one of the last fighters on the Neo and so it had a higher bar to meet.

I also personally just hate the graphic style. I think it's just ugly.

I just don't like crossover fighters. Can barely give them more than a few hours. God I hated cvs2
