Skot is always sitting in the same fucking spot too. Do you ever get to move away from those N64 games?

heh, you're taking it the wrong way. I don't think you're an idiot at all (and I doubt Bobak does either). And because of that, I expect more from you than to be part of the rabble rousers.

Wiz Kid isn't really hurting anyone, but I can see that the flak he's taking from everyone is having an effect on him. Once people start threatening violence I ask myself is this the nature of that person - to resort to violence. I don't think it's the case for wizkid007. He's been pushed pretty far, and to make a non-violent kid who just likes to play games and have fun undergo that kind of a change is messed up.

fair enough, i can see he doesnt seem to be coping with it very well so as i mentioned 10 or posts before ill lay off him.

Korn lost it a long time ago.
first 2 albums where incredible after that it was all down hill same with Deftones.
I liked these bands before they became as big as they did.
it's not the same Jonathan Davis that sung Ball Tongue and Mr.Rogers (how great a song is Mr.Rogers? fucking hell...).

Wes:

You have good taste in music mate :) Trivium rips! You like "As I Lay Dying", they are worth checking out. Saw Killswitch Engage a few weeks ago, brilliant live! Can't wait to see Mudvayne again in january! I still like Korn, new stuff is better than I thought it would be since Head left. Issues would be my fave Korn album :)
LOL! I've got to post a better pic!

there's no denying mr rogers was a good song, but have u heard their new stuff (since head left)? every band changes with time. we don't always like the changes but those that do it successfully stick around.

I know what you mean. I just remember the first albums to be raw, crazy and with excellent production values that didn't get in the way of the quality of the songs.
I blame Korn for bringing about a scene which spawned so much mediocrity and shit though. only a few worthwhile bands emerged (or became successful as a consequence (Disturbed, SOAD, Mudvayne, maybe a couple of others).

I have a semi-personal history with the band, I followed them from their first CD (still my favorite) when they were nothing more than an interesting band from my hometown (my friends were classmates with Jon; I also was classmates with Jonathan Davis' half-brother, a fairly normal pretty-boy who now fronts a band called Adema). I thought Korn nearly lost it with "Issues" (1 great song, 1 good song, and a lot of crap), but their subsequent stuff was nice. I was disappointed with the cover song on the "Best of" album, but it was nice to hear the old classics. As far as songs, I think Clown and Faget from the first CD are still two faves.

yeah, i treated head's departure like a death, but it has had a clear (and not necessarily bad) impact on korn's sound.

The members of korn definitely have tendencies toward materialistic values... :sigh: ...but a good portion of their music is still enjoyable.
