Going off of the Capoeira theme. There was this little hut/cafe/guesthouse in a place called Bagsu, India. I used to go up there in the evenings and just chill with the other travelers. Eventually someone would break out the Tablas or a Djembe and I used to work the place up just dancing around. Pretty soon I'm teaching people how to jinga and even starting mini rodas.

Whoa thats fuckin sweet. Mini rodas that spring up out of a non capoeira environment are the best, there's nothing like it! We used to do that at a club around here. Sometimes the right rhythm of any drum can hold a decent roda. I wouldn't mind doing a little roda to the rhythm of the tabla or djembe myself, lol.

yeah were pretty close, more like a family-gang. We aren't all from the same group/organization. Me and the girl to my right come from grupo UBC and everybody else in that picture comes from "Capoeira Aachen"(Formerly Oficina da Capoeira). However the Mestre of their former group and our professor have the same lineage, because they both come from a group called "porto de minas". So we are like cousins of a sort. If we travel abroad to large capoeira events and somebody seriously attacks one of them in the roda you can expect my group to retaliate and vice versa. LOL gotta love capoeira and their family-gangs.

p.s. by the way, i forgot which style of capoeira you trained. Did you train Angola or Regional/Contemporanea and which group? I remember you saying your instructor left and you couldn't train anymore.
