Gotta give a shout out to xsq and Xian for help with the wiring on the sticks and ShoottheCore for help figuring out that the video encoder on the home cart was bad!
I totally Agree hated it
Fancied making a CMVS recently. I know this casing has been done time and time again, but I really love the look of it.
Just waiting for a suitable power switch with an LED in it. Had a slip cutting the cart slot and now it’s bigger than it needs to be. There’s a few scratches on it - I’ll probably re-do the case at some point and properly protect it whilst doing the drilling and filing next time!

Thank you to Xian Xi for the tutorial on his site, NeoTurfMasta for the amazing NeoBiosMasta with VMC and Razoola for the unibios of course.
No more than 2.
edit:
And for clarification where I got that from, I just observed my JNX CMVS while using the NEOSD playing a game and it consumed 5 watts from the wall. Max wattage I observed was 6.2 watts while flashing a game. This was using a Kill-A-Watt meter.
So, doing some math, 6.2 watts divided by 5 volts output = 1.24 amps.
And considering these little wall wart power supples aren't 100% efficient, it's probably more like 80% of that. So more like 1 amp.
The MV1C and MV1B have similar power usages. So yeah, a 2 amp psu should be good. So unless you are cramming a super power hungry video encoder in there, you should be good.
Man, that desk fan is gonna work wonders come Jan/Feb....
i'm not sure why the lines along the bottom are wider than the rest.
Wow awesome dr meat
that is definitely a nice enclosure.
