It's quite rare. And if you can get it, don't sell it.

You hardly ever see it for sale, so asking what it goes for is a little difficult when it's not even going...

I did try to get it from telegames like two months ago myself. I ordered 4 copies. I thought heck why not buy allot when you can get em for like $70 dollar cheaper. But they happened to be all japanese. I'm glad they took them back and gave me a refund...

Does the game require knowledge of Japanese? If not I'd probably just get the JP version instead.

Glad Telegames are giving you a refund, Heard of so many People who have been told where to go when asking for a refund off them.

Strange thing about English Pocket Reversi, you very rarely see them but where are they?

They would not have done such a small run on this game. I know that not many were probably sold as it came out toward the end of the pocket short lived existence (although i supposed it does still live!).

If only a few were sold, there must be a shed load stored up somewhere. Does anyone know what the number released was, not sold, but actually made?

Got one by the way, but already spoken for to a close associate. Nuff Said......

Pictures available for only $20.........

I know out of the 8 games that were never released to retailers most of them were 1000 units, so at a guess i would say the same for Pocket Reversi but if anyone knows better?

Seems a fair figure, but i would still say that more should be seen or available for trade. I have only had knowledge of about 3 in the last year. You would assume there would be more...... I bet some poor bastard has a 100 copies in the back of their shop somewhere....

If there are 1000 copies where are they? When SNK pulled the pocket they recalled all existing stocks back to Japan where they were recycled, or at least so the story goes. Maybe the first run of 1000 were recalled except for a few boxes that had been shipped. I agree they couldn't do a run of less than 1000 copies, but a recall would account for the missing games.

My Theory is that because it's a reversi game it was not going to sell shed loads in the UK anyway, I reckon that most must of got sent back to Japan as no-one though it would sell, Even though there wasn't many made. So they got sent back with loads of other stock and didn't get through the net like the other last releases. Thats just my Theory for what it's worth and have no facts to back that up. :)

Thats probably true, remade into Pachislot games argh! the thought of it!! Special Reserve had most of the stock of the 8 unreleased games, Telegames UK was another other than that i think other places got out quick and got their money back and sent the games back.

I don't know where the uk pocket reversi are, but I do know that in NYC J&L had a nice stack of UK games on the floor (Cool Boarders, Magical Drop, Shanghai, Dive Alert) and you'd never know it, and neither would they, unless YOU went there are checked.

I have the UK clamshell verison of Pocket Reversi, I paid £130 on ebay for it. It's by far the rarerest title on the Neo Geo Pocket Colour.

i can verify that he has it as we were bidding against each other but owing to money pressures i had to stop bidding, bike insurance and car insurance were due, got to travel to work but would have loved that cart as it would have finished my collection off if you want to sell it markie let me know :)

Hey Rude Kid,

Everywhere I look you're there ;-)

I still haven't seen a Pocket Reversi on Ebay
since the one I purchased for £130 Ouch (still hurts).

Like you said in previous post, sometimes when a cart sells for a silly price Ebay is flooded with them, but not this time. Pocket Reversi remains the pinnacle of any collection.

There were two Black and white games also released in the UK, one was King of fighters R1, What was the other one?

No B&W games were ever released in the UK, most were released in Asia in English text but none were released in the UK.

Yes, I keep getting corrected as well.
Another description is to say they were released for the English Speaking market.
The other releases were:
Neo Geo Cup 98 (NEOP0002),
Samurai Shodown (NEOP0008),
not sure about Pocket Tennis or Cherry Master off the top of my head.
All five of the Japanese versions also play in English.
