Hey, how are you? Well, we're thinking about going 10 days to Fort Lauderdale during Christmas. I have already been there, when I was 17 I spent a month with an American host family. I loved the place. My question is, do you know if there's a lot of party and stuff in New Year's Eve in Ft Lauderdale? I know the best time to go is during Spring Break, but whatever, we want to welcome 2008 drinking on the beach

Ft. Lauderdale is fun and all, but for New Years Eve you may want to go down to South Beach, which is a 40 minute drive down the highway. South Beach has a lot going on. Actually, I would recommend taking a cab, since we're talking New Years Eve. Or get a hotel room.

it could go for about $60 I guess, but then again, being caught drunk driving costs more.
