Hey, how are you? Well, we're thinking about going 10 days to Fort Lauderdale during Christmas. I have already been there, when I was 17 I spent a month with an American host family. I loved the place. My question is, do you know if there's a lot of party and stuff in New Year's Eve in Ft Lauderdale? I know the best time to go is during Spring Break, but whatever, we want to welcome 2008 drinking on the beach:mr_t:

Ft. Lauderdale is fun and all, but for New Years Eve you may want to go down to South Beach, which is a 40 minute drive down the highway. South Beach has a lot going on. Actually, I would recommend taking a cab, since we're talking New Years Eve. Or get a hotel room.

Do you know how much a cab would go for?

it could go for about $60 I guess, but then again, being caught drunk driving costs more.
