Penny Arcade Expo 2008: Who's With Me?

I checked the Neo Gatherings forum, and saw no meeting announced for PAX.

Its in 11 days, and I can't believe I'm the only forum member going.

I'm a board game playing / mordern video game playing / classic video game playing / card game playing nerd, so PAX is basically the best convention I could ever attend.

This will be my first year, and I'm going by myself, but what the hell. I should somehow be able to keep occupied for the Saturday and Sunday I am there.

Anybody else coming? Any interest in a dinner? Who knows?

Honestly I'd consider going if it didn't require a flight to get to.

The fiancee asked me if we're going, but I will be travelling for work during that time and she'll be in Florida.

PAX and Blizzcon are two events I have wanted to attend for a long time. Unfortunately, my current job/lifestyle don't allow me to take multiple vacations every year. If I was a single and/or childless guy I could definitely swing it. Now, not so much.

If we move out west in the next couple of years like I am hoping for, it may be in the cards for that year.

I'm going to attend PAX: East Coast in 2010. I don't feel like flying out west for it.
