Anyone have an NES knocking around? One that works, with a power cord, scart, and controller? Maybe even a game? Don't need or want some boxed, mint, closet queen. Something used, slightly abused, but working is my goal. I'm not looking to be a collecturd dick. I'm looking to play some games. Let me know what's good.

Do you have access to a USA nes by chance at a fair price? You can mod/snip the lockout chip on a NTSC nes to play pal games. I did to play my small library of Pal games.

Google if you want to perform this mod alot of people are doing it standard when they break open systems to clean them. Also can fix blinking light issues.

This thread didn't work out. Oh well. I'll have to turn to Ebay or something.

Can't use a us NES here neoteam. 240 volts would fry the sucker.

Or you could just, you know, find a local Euro AC adapter that outputs 9v. If the PAL NES is anything like the USA NES, it has a rectifier in the power circuit, which converts AC to DC (DC just passes through) and even polarity. You could use any plain 9v DC center positive adapter, which are super common.

Or just find a pal one and use that. Which was my original plan.
