I have just received a batch of games in, and one of them, turf masters, has a protective case that is bigger (height wise) than all the other boxes you usually get. It is about half an inch to high and the cart does not fit in snuggly (rattle). Has anyone else ever seen protective cases like these?

Just an added point, it actually fits perectly into the slots of the Clamshell case, which makes a change.

Talking to myself i think but problem solved. Dive Alert (Jap) uses a bigger cart. Is this the same for the US/Euro release?

Dive Alert Uk uses the standard sized cart in the standard clear case.
Didnt the Jap one have something extra built onto the top of the cart?
Was it something to do with a wireless link or something? I cant remember now, been a long time since Ive seen one, and I wasn't into Japanese NGPC games back then anyway.
-Only wanted the UK ones.

I think you are right, i only remember because someone mentioned it in one of the forums a while back. It does seem strange that the Clamshell Cases were designed with the holding clips, in such a way, only really being useful for the Jap Dive Alert series (unless there were a few others?).

I think party mail also used the wireless link feature, as did some other game, it might have been baccarat?

There’s a French site somewhere that positively identifies the wireless link titles.
