Some people claiming to be industry insiders say that the mainstream rap biz is a literal fag-fest.
And as you work your way up the fag hierarchy you get to do more fag-fucking and less fag-sucking.

Personally I believe it.

2pac once said Quincy Jones wanted him to fuck him in his ass. The fact that he said this is probably one of the reasons he's dead.

The music biz has been super gay for a long time.

I found this so funny I had to look it up

I’ve been called a blonde-lover, a pedophile, gay, everything. I don’t care, man. Imagine my daughter being engaged to Tupac and me trying to make love to him? And I’m not into no men, man. I’m a hard-core lesbian. Are you kidding? All my life, all my life.

I never was super big on wu, and that's mainly because I listened to a ton of 90's west coast hip hop. I really should give this group a go.

36 Chambers is only one of the best Rap albums of all time. It's one of those Heavy Metal Rap albums you could just let run all the way through. Also check out Raekwon: Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.

I agree with this.

Supreme Clientele and Tical are also great.

Liquid Swords and Beneath the Surface are also good.

Shit, so is Iron Man.

WuTang Forever is my favorite Wu album.

Iron Man "All That I got is you" is to me one of the most memorable rap tracks I have ever heard. Shit brought a tear to my eye when I first heard it.

Wu-Tang forever is another one of the greats. I got it on CD and Digital but just ordered the vinyl on Amazon. I want to hear it the way it's meant to be heard. The static and pops give it another effect.

Triumph has to be one of the greatest if not the greatest track of all time.

Rza was always my favorite out of the bunch. He would just spit some crazy creative shit.

You fag, you couldn't pull one drag off my blunt
You couldn't punch your way out of a wet paper bag
With scissors in your hands.bitch the RZA
I stand close to walls, like Number 4 The Lizard
And channel through solar panels, blast off like Roman Candles
Rap vandals, stomp your ass like Wahoo McDaniel
You cocker spaniel dogs, can't fuck with our catalog
Put your lights out and leave your brain inside a fog

Yes! Triumph is, well, a triumph.

This. After much deliberation, my favorite Wu song.

Saw GZA a couple of years ago do Liquid Swords all the way through, best solo album IMO. Love the purple tape though and Ghost's Ironman is good, this tune gets me hype (video ain't bad either):

I used to be quite into bone thugs I loved their style etc. but it makes much less sense that they do an art project album than Wu Tang. for one Wu Tang have always been more experimental and art-inclined - I wasn't that surprised to find out they would be doing this album to be honest, and I think its a pretty interesting idea conceptually.

They actually need the money.

I'm sure they do because I ran into Bizzy Bone multiple times on Ohio state campus about 10 years ago at bars. And rich people don't hang out shitty campus bars.

I don't think he's done anything since then, so I assume his situation is worse now, and a desperate attempt to get rich quick.

Ghostface was in town this past weekend for buku fest... did a bunch of old stuff with a live band, it was pretty rad.

I ran into bizzy about 15 years ago on the east side if youngstown trying to sell beats. It was sad.
