Are we talking lunar or solar years here? Exactly how Chinese is this guy on a scale of 1 to Lonesage?

I already did a lyric check for "auspicious"*. Anyone here wanna bust a rhyme with that?

Edit: though I see RZA used "auspicious" in a facebook post in normal conversation. He must therefore be at least 1 Lonesage on the Lonesage scale.

RZA has been blindfolded by the illusion that he can actually act and worse, take part in martial arts films with his laughable athletics. I think all of this has contributed to his newfound douchebaggery.

Method man did an interview with HuffPost live the other day and denounced the album.

Early sneak peeks say it goes back to the 36 chamber style.

See that's why Method Man is my man...Tical...tical...pass it over here then...tical...tical.

Imagine if they were to make a real comeback, you know, powerhouse beats, passive aggressive lyrics, hollow box acoustics, oh man.

Last thing RZA did that I thought was incredible.
...I was born ready motherfucker!

I'm guessing the title is a homage to Leone's "Once upon a time..." trilogy ?

What's that got to do with 70's / 80's kung-fu flicks?

It's ridiculous. Hardcore Wu fans should be the ones listening to this album, not some rich prick who's gonna buy it for a million and sit on it. The nerve of the RZA.

I can imagine some rich prick who buys this thing and after reading your post decides to sit on it. cos he's a prick. and he's just doing it to be a prick. bye

when I say he sits on it, I mean he literally sits on it. not in the figurative sense but in a literal sense.

Can't fucking stand him.

Kendrick is all that's left of these new artists.

Some people claiming to be industry insiders say that the mainstream rap biz is a literal fag-fest.
And as you work your way up the fag hierarchy you get to do more fag-fucking and less fag-sucking.

Personally I believe it.

It has to be true on some level.

I just can't imagine people actually liking Drake or anything Young Money does.

Big Sean sucks, JCole sucks....

I can't say I like anyone from this generation. Kendrick being a slight exception.

I don't know what the fuck happened to RZA though. Here I was blaming Rae for not wanting on A better tomorrow.

Once Upon a Time in China series centralised around Chinese Hero Wong Fei Hung (Jet Li). The 2nd in the series has Donnie Yen in it.

Donnie. Fucking. Yen.

I kind of like what Danny Brown does, I think he's one of the most interesting artists to emerge in years. the rest of it is mostly absolute shit, some of which is good for 5 minutes and then becomes unbearable. Big Pun's kid can spit though, he's good, I just don't think there's that big of a market for that type of hip hop anymore.
biggest hip hop criminals in my opinion though - Jay Z and Kanye. waaaaaay over rated, boring as fuck, much more harmful to hip hop culture than Lil Wayne. horrible.
Brooklyn Zoo - one of a kind never been surpassed never will be either. and that's not nostalgia - I heard the album a year ago, back then ODB wasn't my thing but I have since understood his absolute genius.

Jay can go in, but I'm iffy on him. I absolutely DESPISE Kanye.

What's harmful for hiphop are these garbage media outlets praising these rappers like Bobby Shmurda before he got hemmed up. That track was garbage.

Few people understood what ODB could do - now it's apparent.
