I was one of the few people who saw the Great American Bash and after that PPV I will never watch Smackdown again until JBL loses the WWE title.

You're not alone.

Thank god for that, as ratings will drop like a stone because of the bullshit.

As well as the PPV Buyrate for the GAB will be the lowest ever.

Smackdown to me is going to be like a car wreck...

You don't want to see it yet you can't turn away from it. For those who won't watch it, I'll post the results here ;)

The original Deadman stands as my absolute favorite of his various incarnations, but I've been very adaptive when it comes to Taker changing so his current persona, until his next one, starts to grow on me. However, I never liked the American Bad Ass persona…But no matter what, I will always be a Taker fangirl!

Speaking of the American Bad Ass gimmick…Still Taker, but no longer supernatural.:spock: Hmmm...I think I understand the reasons for that change. It seemed the Undertaker had been pretty well played out and maybe fans did want to see something more "real" and "human", but that form just didn’t hold as much interest for me.*shrugs* I'm really interested to see what will be done in the future with this new hybrid Taker though…I think the idea has huge potential. His current style is really good! I think its great how he's successfully brought back the Deadman in yet another form, without it being stale!:)

The Undertaker is a very unique superstar. How many big men yesterday and today can you name that are able to do the kind of things that Taker can do without breaking a sweat? Not many wrestlers today, if any at all, can go on out there and have that "I'm better than ever" aura that Taker presents each time he appears and that's why he stands out from the rest. Unlike many other superstars Taker's past personas have been successful, which makes it interesting for fans to debate about which era of the Deadman that they prefer. They don't call him THE PHENOM for no reason!:D

Um…The issue of whether he's a face or a heel never seems to have been totally clear cut, firstly because the fans love it when he's evil, and secondly because he hasn't traditionally acknowledged the fans or manipulated them in the way that conventional heels or faces do. He's always appeared to draw his strength from some bigger supernatural source, whether it's symbolized by the urn or if it's something darker and more mysterious than that.

But I think that Taker ought to be ultimately a force for good, as I think that's what he's been in reality in people's lives. Not good in a do-gooder good citizen kind of a way, but good as in a kind of defiant "otherness" in professional wrestling, a world of banal egotism and cartoonish masculinity. In my eyes there's something life-affirming even about his coldness. Acknowledgment of death is an acknowledgment of life.

Taker is enormous, he's better than human, he's emblematic of something much more archetypal and deeper than wrestling usually allows, and of course there is a sexual element to the way I look at him. Imagination is a huge part of sexuality and Taker really captures imaginations. That's not to say I'm trying to neatly separate the character from Mark, obviously he is largely responsible and I'm simply talking about his talent and his particular presence.

For the last half decade people, fan or no fan, have been discussing Taker's "nearing-retirement". I mean what is that? We all know it's going to happen but I don't see the need in people counting down to it.:( Personally, I try not to think about it as I find it very upsetting. I know the day is inevitably going to come, so I just spend the remaining time he's in the spotlight enjoying what he does so well. I will miss him terribly but the memories will live on forever.

Now that I have gotten all of that out of the way…Please forgive me for rambling yet again!:annoyed: *bashes herself over the head repeatedly with a rubber chicken* I simply find this thread to be the perfect place to share my thoughts on all things related to wrestling, considering that my friends and family all HATE wrestling, and I have no one to talk to that shares the same passion for the sport as I do…

Wow that was very informative...The Undertaker is my Fav WWE superstar...and I did not really like the "American Bad Ass" look...but maybe the fans needed something more "real"...Im just glad he is back to his "true" form

I'm reluctant to watch Smackdown myself but I gotta bear with it. In a way I saw Bradshaw winning the title after a Kurt Angle screw job. I expected the same with Cena but luckily it was not the case. I bet Booker T can take out Bradshaw if he turns face again.

STEEL SURPRISE
July 01, 2004

JBL may believe that his WWE Championship reign is the “dawn of a new era” in sports entertainment, but sundown might come on SmackDown! in two weeks time.

After the proud new champ polished off hand-picked opponent Spike Dudley, bitter rival Eddie Guerrero appeared. He informed JBL that his contract guarantees a rematch — and this time, it’s Eddie who gets to select the match stipulation. So, when SmackDown! sets down in Providence, R.I., the glad-handing JBL will have to weather Latino Heat in a steel cage.

More than one powerhouse Superstar left SmackDown! scowling: Mordecai’s undefeated streak was stopped by undersized Cruiserweight Champion Rey Mysterio.

In an important update, we learned that Paul Bearer sustained severe internal damage — including injuries to the lungs and trachea — when he was entombed in a Concrete Crypt by the Undertaker at The Great American Bash. The devious Paul Heyman gloated over the Bash outcome, telling the Fayetteville, N.C., crowd that he “compelled the Undertaker to face his only weakness.” Heyman clearly felt Bearer had been holding the Phenom back, and will do so no longer.

“Now the Undertaker has no conscience. Now the Undertaker has no restraints,” Heyman said Thursday night. But now that the Undertaker is unrestrained, Heyman better hope the Deadman doesn’t come for him.

SmackDown! also had implications for United States Champion John Cena. He had words with Kenzo Suzuki and watched Booker T earn the No. 1 contender slot when Booker emerged from a Triple Threat Match with Rob Van Dam and Rene Dupree. As a result, Cena will square off against the five-time WCW Champion next Thursday, with the U.S. title on the line.

Lastly, referee Charles Robinson almost didn’t make it out of Fayetteville intact. After botching the Bash match between Torrie Wilson and Sable, General Manager Kurt Angle ordered Robinson to ref Thursday’s rematch. The contest, in which Torrie triumphed with a DDT, went without incident. Still, Angle wasn’t satisfied, throwing Robinson into the ring to wrestle big man Luther Reigns. Luckily for Robinson, Charlie Haas had unfinished business with Reigns and stepped between the two when the battle had barely begun.

Match Results:
Booker T defeats Rob Van Dam and Rene Dupree (Triple Threat Match) to become the No. 1 contender.
Cruiserweight Champion Rey Mysterio def. Mordecai (non-title match)
Torrie Wilson def. Sable
The match between Luther Reigns and Charles Robinson was stopped when Robinson was incapacitated and Charlie Haas intervened
JBL def. Spike Dudley

Kenzo came out and started talking and yelling in Japanese to everyone. John Cena came out and translated it using his typical colorful adjectives...the highlight of the night and now that I think about it...that's pathetic :oh_no:

Luther wrestling against a ref, Modercai lost to Rey Mysterio, Torrie and Sable had GAB rematch, Spike Dudley was in the main-event and JBL IS still the WWE champion? Good thing I didn't watch Smackdown. Hopefully Eddie will won the Championship in two weeks so that underseving piece of shit JBL will be place on Velocity and to job to guys like Orlando Jordan and the F.B.I. where he belongs.

Taker speaks!:) It has certainly been a long while since I last heard him address someone while in his Deadman persona. Since that time we have all heard the Undertaker talking in his native Texan drawl (as the American Bad Ass). But after his speech on Smackdown, did it seem to anyone here that he sounded differently than he used to in like for instance...his Ministry of Darkness days?

It could just be me, but I think that his voice sounded a bit more like the original Deadman (when that form actually spoke at all). Raspy and deeper, and talking slower. In any case, it was great to see the man talk again! The lightning bolts were incredible! I almost jumped out of my seat in surprise when they hit! Hehe…I think that scheming flab Heyman has bitten off far more than he can chew! I can't wait to see what happens next!

So Mordecai lost…to REY MYSTERIO?:spock: Um…Is the WWE trying to destroy a potentially interesting gimmick here? This really puzzles me. Mordecai taking a loss from Rey…that is kinda detrimental to his character. He loses a bit of his "monster" image with each loss to guys like that. While I don't think that Mordecai should remain undefeated, and I know Rey is the Cruiserweight Champion and a pretty tough little bouncy guy…I think it should have been someone bigger that eventually beat him. I don't see the logic in this…

*shrugs* There's usually a big risk being involved when a heavily gimmicked character (like Mordecai) is brought in. They need to expose him more and let fans see what he's able to do. So far we haven't seen that completely. Mordecai has virtually unlimited feud potential because of his personal crusade against sinners, but it makes me cringe to see tiny little guys like Mysterio steal wins from him.:annoyed:

Yay! Eddie versus JBL in a steel cage in two weeks!:glee: As far as I'm concerned, the title has already gone straight to his big fat slimy head and Eddie ought to get it back as soon as possible! I can't wait to see the cage match...I hope and pray that Latino Heat does a number on him! I want to see a Frog Splash from the top of the cage and Bradshaw (the character) to die of internal injuries caused by said Frog Splash!:D Hehe…Or maybe the Big Show can randomly appear from out of nowhere and Frog Splash JBL…If that ever happened, there would be nothing left of him for the medics to salvage!:eek_2:

Silly humor aside, the WWE really needs to make this a SHORT title reign, unless they want to do serious damage to the title's legacy. In terms of business, the champion needs to be somebody who can put butts in the seats and somebody who people don't go "Who?" to whenever you mention their name. To the casual wrestling fan, Layfield is a "Who?" (while to me, he is an "Ugh!" ) and does nothing for the title.

Bradshaw spent most of his career as a tag team wrestler. If you look at the past matches that he's had as the JBL character:

-He defeated El Gran Luchador, the Heavyweight champion of Mexico (Paul London in a silly mask)
-He beat Rey Mysterio *cough*
-He won against Eddie at Judgment Day by DISQUALIFICATION *smacks forehead*
-Because of that slimy Angle, he stole Eddie's title at the Great American Bash *sticks tongue out at JBL*

If they were going to build Bradshaw up as a credible champ, they should have at least had him face off against more wrestlers and very credible wrestlers at that (Remember back when Eddie had to defend his title almost DAILY against the likes of Triple H, Kurt Angle, and Booker T?) When Bradshaw first debuted as JBL, he almost immediately got a title shot. Now some of you can say that well, Brock Lesnar got his grubby paws on the belt after only five months, but at least HE had some credible wins against superstars, most notably against Hulk Hogan...

the cena and kanzo skit was hilarious i say. too bad he can't do any of his old flows (thank you fcc or one of those agencies). i wish he still flows like his old heel form.

i think we will see a feud between rey and mordecai since taker is busy with heyman, which i definitely like to see.

meh, i would rather see jbl vs guerrero in a hell in a cell.

Yep, that was the highlight of the night. And I enjoyed every second of it. :p

The triple threat match between RVD, Dupree, and Booker T could have been better if RVD won the match. That win by Booker T was very lame.

Well, thank goodness for TNA's Impact at least it fails to dissapoint me. :D

p.s.- I bet a Canadian Dollar that in two weeks JBL will retain the WWE title.

It is just a lousy attempt by the uncapable WWE writers to create a story between Rey and that white trash, religious wanna be, one man crusade my ass, Mordecai.

Mordecai has no talent, he has no charisma, heck he is even worse than JBL. :blow_top:

Mordecai committed a mortal sin, he bores and annoys the HELL out of me, and for that he shall forever burn in Hell. :very_ang:

Knowing the WWE, I am willing to bet that JBL will retain the WWE belt for quite some time. And yes, it will be longer than two weeks.

Sabu & Sonjay Dutt vs. Team Canada

This week’s pay per view got off to a blistering start as the “Original Playa from the Himalaya” Sonjay Dutt teamed up with the homicidal, suicidal, genocidal, Sabu to take on Bobby Roode and Petey Williams of Team Canada. As always, the duo was led to the ring by their leader, Scott D’Amore. Team Canada has been on roll as of late in TNA and wanted to extend their winning streak by shutting down Sabu and Dutt.

Although, Sabu and Sonjay Dutt don’t have the experience working together that Team Canada does, they did a pretty good job working as a team. D’Amore got his cheap shots in when he could and it looked like he was going to be the X factor again for Team Canada, but Sabu had other plans. Just as Bobby Roode was about to use the infamous hockey stick that D’Amore gave him, Sabu countered it with a steel chair, breaking the stick in half. Once this happened, Sabu dropped his leg with the steel chair on Bobby Roode’s face which led to the eventual pin fall.

After the match, Scott D’Amore was furious with both Petey Williams and Bobby Roode. The rest of Team Canada, Johnny Devine and Showtime Eric Young, came to the ring to calm down the frustrated D’Amore, thus preventing anything more from taking place.

Back in the locker room area, “The Franchise” Shane Douglas was standing by with the X Division Champion, AJ Styles. The news broke that Kid Kash was suspended for unknown reasons and would not be able to compete against Styles tonight for the belt. AJ told Douglas that it didn’t matter, and that he never backed down from a fight. He said he will throw up the net again and see what he can catch as far as an opponent goes.

Cameras then shifted back to the ring where Scott Hudson was standing by with Director of Authority, Vince Russo and referee Rudy Charles. Scott Hudson asked Russo who the NWA World Champion is. Vince Russo said that he decided to let the 2 participants in the match state their own case and invited both “The Truth” Ron Killings and Jeff Jarrett to the ring. The 3 Live Kru came out first and got the crowd all riled up, but just before Killings could speak his mind, out came “The King of the Mountain” Jeff Jarrett, followed by his Elite Guard consisting of Onyx, Collier, and Hernandez.

Jarrett had the truck roll the footage showing Russo and Rudy Charles stating that if anyone uses the guitar in the match, they would be disqualified and lose. Truth then had the truck show some footage for him in which we saw Jeff Jarrett continuously use the guitar as a weapon against people like Dusty Rhodes, Vince Russo, and Killings himself. The Truth then told Russo that the attack was premeditated and that Russo should do the right thing!

Russo seemed very confused, but announced that although it made him sick to his stomach, he must award the belt back to Jeff Jarrett. Russo then told Killings that he didn’t do the right thing last week when he hit Jarrett with the guitar. Just as Jarrett was mouthing off, Russo told him to shut up and informed the champ that he would be defending the title next week against all 3 members of 3 Live Kru, but that’s not all. Russo said he had to be fair and he included Jarrett’s Elite Guard in this gauntlet match up. However, this would make it 4 on 3, so Russo said he will have to even things up with a man that Jeff Jarrett is scared of. He then revealed the 8th competitor in next week’s gauntlet match for the NWA World Heavyweight Title. The World’s Most Dangerous Man, Ken Shamrock!!!! The first NWA Champion of the TNA era was back and he charged the ring as a fight ensued amongst all of the wrestlers except for Jeff Jarrett, who jumped over the railing to the outside.

“The Alpha Male” Monty Brown vs. D Lo Brown

Both of these athletes have publicly stated that they are both in search of the biggest prize in our sport, the NWA World Heavyweight Title. Problem is, there is only room for one top contender. This led to The Alpha Male put in a match up with D Lo Brown to find out just who would go on to become the number one contender for the title. Fans were wondering if D Lo Brown could put an end to Monty Brown’s winning streak here in TNA.

This match went back and forth with neither man able to capitalize. The longer the match went on, the more brutal the encounter got. What started as a wrestling match, ended in a fight with the referee calling a No Contest as both D Lo and Monty Brown fought each other into the crowd watching on at the Asylum. Security tried to separate the two, but had their hands full. We have certainly not seen the last of this rivalry in the making.

Hudson was standing by with Gilberti and Swinger. Although Swinger looked comfortable in his coconut bikini, Gilberti was hesitant to appear before the camera. Unannounced, David Young came in and went over to talk with Gilberti. Swinger told Hudson that if it’s coconuts that Kenney and Siaki want, it’s coconuts their going to get.

Pat Kenney & Sonny Siaki vs. The NYC (Double or nothing humiliation match)

Unfortunately for Gilberti and Swinger, they were forced to come to the ring dressed in those ridiculous outfits. Intent on not having to wear them anymore, the NYC was ready to put a beating on Kenney and Siaki to ensure victory. However, it was all Kenney and Siaki in the early going. Gilberti used his shoe as a weapon to turn the tide of the match back to the NYC’s favor.

Midway through the match, David Young came down to the ring with a chain around his fist and hit Pat Kenney over the head to allow Gilberti to get the rollup and the 3 count. Just as the NYC was celebrating not having to wear their outfits, another referee hit the ring to inform referee Andy Thomas that he missed Young interfering in the match up. Thomas then ordered the match to continue. Eventually, Irish Pat Kenney go the rollup on Gilberti for the pin and thus forcing the NYC to wear the outfits for 30 more days. Vito and Trinity then came out to ringside to have words with their fellow New Yorker’s.

Cameras again shifted backstage where Scott Hudson was standing by with Goldylocks and Abyss. She told Hudson that Watts still loves her and that once Abyss wins, she is going to get his contract and rip it up.

Erik Watts vs. Abyss w/ Goldylocks

With his wife sitting at ringside, it was now time for Erik Watts to try and win back the money that Goldylocks had taken from him. If he won the match, Goldylocks would have to give his savings back, but if Abyss won, Watt’s contract goes into her hands. For Abyss, it was a chance to punish another TNA victim, and for Watts, it was all about taking back what is rightfully his. Goldylocks got involved early and often. She slipped the briefcase in about midway through the match which Abyss used to hit Watt’s right over the head. However, Watt’s kicked out, knowing that his match could be his last.

Erik Watts then turned the tide of the match when he hit a choke slam on Abyss. It wasn’t enough to keep the big man down though. Although Erik Watts fought valiantly, he wasn’t able to beat the numbers game. With Goldylock’s constant interference, she was able to distract Watt’s too much and that led to Abyss giving him the Black hole Slam for the victory, thus giving Goldylocks the power over Erik’s contract. After the match was over, Abyss and Goldy continued to attack a helpless Watt’s until his wife jumped the guard rail and came in the ring, desperately fighting off her husband’s enemies.

Hudson was standing by with the NWA World Tag Team Champs. Wildcat Chris Harris and Cowboy James Storm expressed their feelings on the recent actions of the Naturals. Harris exclaimed that they were going to give the Naturals something tonight and they are not going to like it.

America’s Most Wanted vs. The Naturals

For week’s now, the Naturals have been trying to get the attention of TNA officials by attacking Chris Harris and James Storm every chance they get. They went as far as to steal their ring attire and draw on their faces with lipstick. It looked as if Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens wanted a shot at the Tag Team Champions. Well, be careful what you wish for, because in this case, they got it! AMW was out to settle the score with the 2 newcomers to the TNA tag team division.

AMW wasted no time and went right after Stevens and Douglas before the bell even sounded. Harris and Storm were fired up and out for revenge. They manhandled the two rookies in the beginning of their encounter. However, the Naturals proved that they were a worthy contender and soon mounted a comeback. It seemed as if AMW had the match put away on several occasions, but Douglas and Stevens would kick out. What happen next came as a shock to everyone in the building and all those who watched at home, the Naturals were able to get the pin in what could be considered a controversial decision. Nonetheless, Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens sent another message to TNA. That is, they are the real deal!

Back in the locker room area, Scott Hudson was standing by with “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes who wasn’t too happy about the decision Russo made earlier in the night, but he had other issues to worry about, such as Jeff Hardy. Rhodes said he personally will take the Jeff Hardy situation in to his pocket, claiming that Jeff Hardy has that rock star status in the world of professional wrestling.

Later on, Scott Hudson caught up with Vince Russo who would not comment on Kid Kash’s suspension, but he did let everyone know that AJ Styles would defend his belt against 5 worthy X Division wrestlers.

AJ Styles vs. Michael Shane vs. Kazarian vs. Primetime vs. Amazing Red vs. Chris Sabin

We all know that AJ Styles is a fighting champion, but the odds were stacked against the phenomenal one going into this match up with 4 former X Division Champions. With the exception of a very talented Primetime, all of Styles opponents have tasted the X gold before and wanted it back. This match was absolutely out of this world! In true X Division style, all 6 competitors put it all on the line and showed why the X Division has no limits! There was death defying, high flying, suicidal, technical, and total nonstop action in this match which words can’t describe. At the conclusion of the match, Styles again overcame the obstacles and got the Styles Clash on Red for the win to retain his title.

After the match was over, all hell broke loose. Team Canada charged the ring and a fight ensued. Just then AMW came through the curtains exchanging blows with the Naturals. Christopher Daniels joined the fray and he too got involved using the NWA flag pole to fight off people. D Lo Brown and Monty Brown were shown fighting their way back through the crowd and so were the 3 Live Kru and The Elite Guard. Bodies were everywhere in the Asylum. In the end, Jeff Jarrett came to the ring with his guitar and stood in the center of the ring untouched, until Ken Shamrock came out to confront him. Just as Shamrock hit the ring, the show went off the air!

Back on the bottom of page two?!! :shame:

RAW was actually a decent show tonight...maybe Eugene needs to be a GM more...good matches, good back stage stuff...why can't these shows be this good on a consistant basis...no doubt next week it'll go back to blah.

Here's the lowdown courtesy of WWE.com:

SPECIAL NIGHT
July 5, 2004

Eugene may have been RAW General Manager for a day, but it was Evolution who ruled Monday night in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

In a Handicap Match ordered by Eric Bischoff’s nephew but orchestrated by Triple H, Evolution (including honorary member Eugene) took down the team of Edge and Chris Benoit. The bout was part of The Game’s master plan to wrestle the World Heavyweight Championship away from The Rabid Wolverine at Vengeance — and it seemed to be working. Evolution walked away victorious Monday, leaving Benoit unconscious and beaten in the ring. The Cerebral Assassin’s mental manipulation of Eugene also paid dividends, as a conflicted Eugene broke up a Sharpshooter and set up a match-ending Pedigree with a chair shot to The Crippler’s back.

Monday Night RAW opened in surreal fashion as a potpourri of Superstars got a taste of what Eugene was cooking up for his special night. Eugene’s first order of business was determining Randy Orton’s challenger for an Intercontinental Championship match later in the evening — usually a routine matter. Instead, Eugene whittled down the hopefuls to one through a game of musical chairs. The final two were big man Tyson Tomko and Winnipeg’s own Chris Jericho. To the delight of the crowd, Y2J “earned” the coveted match, sitting proudly in the sole remaining seat.

In the Intercontinental Championship battle that followed, Jericho gave Orton all he could handle. Y2J tagged the Legend Killer with a running enzuguri. Later he reversed an RKO attempt and locked Orton in the Walls of Jericho. But the looming presence of Evolution member Batista proved too distracting for Jericho, who released the submission hold to eliminate the outside threat. It was exactly the result Batista was hoping for, and he smiled coyly as Orton propped his feet on the second rope and rolled Y2J up for the three-count.

Thanks to Eugene, the animal Batista got a chance to show the world what he’s made of in a match against the Big Red Monster Kane. But an enraged Matt Hardy seemed to snap, erasing the match and slamming Kane’s head against the steel ring steps repeatedly. As a result, Matt Hardy will face Kane at Vengeance in a “No Disqualification” Match.

Eugene made plenty more news Monday. He took full advantage of his authority by making a Vengeance pay-per-view match — and putting himself in it! The team of “Nature Boy” Ric Flair and Eugene will face World Tag Team Champions La Resistance on Sunday.

This latest chapter in the life of Ric Flair must be utterly mystifying. The 16-time World Heavyweight Champion began the night playing musical chairs, then he was ordered to team with the uniquely talented Eugene in a pivotal match.

All the while, Flair is preparing for the imminent release of his eagerly anticipated and extremely honest autobiography, “To Be the Man,” which can be ordered as part of a special ShopZone package now. Flair’s frank discussion of his career — and those with whom he’s crossed paths — is already creating a great deal of controversy. Flair also discusses his tragic youth, shedding light on some of the events that have molded the man. It’s required reading for all those who have followed his storied career and a page-turner for the members of every generation of wrestling fan.

Match Results:
Chris Jericho wins a Musical Chairs contest against Tajiri, Jonathan Coachman, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Stacy Keibler, Ric Flair and Tyson Tomko
World Tag Team Champions La Resistance defeats Rhyno and Val Venis
The match between Kane and Batista ends in a no contest when Matt Hardy interferes
I.C. Champion Randy Orton def. Chris Jericho
Nidia def. Victoria and Molly Holly in a “Contract on a Pole” Match
Women’s Champion Trish Stratus (with Tyson Tomko) def. Nidia
Eugene, Ric Flair and Triple H def. Chris Benoit and Edge (Handicap Match)

Thank you for the RAW recap, Arcademan!:)

Um...I always rooted for Benoit to clean house over on his side of the WWE, mainly because I felt that when one of the two champions eventually lost his belt, the other one would quickly follow. They parallel each other...And I wanted Eddie to remain champion!:(

But Latino Heat won his WWE title first and also (sadly) ended up losing his title first. I wonder if the other shoe will finally drop when the Rabid Wolverine faces off against Triple H at Vengeance...

*shrugs* I think Triple H has finally realised that he is in a position where he doesn't have to be champion to be the most "over" heel. And of course, his McMahon status means that he can fall into and out of the title picture whenever he wants, so there is certainly no harm in letting Benoit hold on to the title for a good long while! The Game lost his title and jobbed to everyone in sight...Please job a hundred times more!:smirk:

The Lita pregnancy angle makes for some fun soap opera style corny drama! Having the whole idea floating around in my head is sort of confusing...I mean, could the baby eventually turn out to be Matt's? We still don't know for sure...But I hope that Kane and his little mini monster don't team up against my Taker!

I just pray that Matt's the father. I would love to see him rocking a little baby girl or boy in his arms! That would be so adorable! Storylinewise, I wish the best for Lita...But my qustion is, why was she taking a pregnancy test at Ten O'clock at night?! Did she carry her strip around with her all day long?:make_fac:

Maybe next week Lita can have some kind of EPT home DNA test. If it turns blue, it's Matt's. If it turns red, it's Kane's. And if it turns a swirl of neon colors and glows under a black light, it's Jeff Hardy's!:loco:

I have a question. Those RAW recaps that they show on Smackdown from time to time help to fill me in on what is currently taking place on the other side of the WWE fence, but...Do they show Smackdown recaps on RAW?:spock: I am simply curious...

Both shows started doing the recaps for the other about 2 months ago. Also Saturday's Velocity and Sunday Night Heat are good sources for updates and WWE Experience on Sunday morning shows behind-the-scene stuff too ;)

I just got word that A.J. had to leave TNA for a little while because his brother committed sucide. Damn, that's sad to hear...

Back on the bottom of page two?!! :shame:

RAW was actually a decent show tonight...maybe Eugene needs to be a GM more...good matches, good back stage stuff...why can't these shows be this good on a consistant basis...no doubt next week it'll go back to blah.

Yes, RAW was OK with a few exceptions:

- Batista vs. Kane. It was a great idea to see two monsters wrestle against each other, and I was hoping to see which one could win. Having Matt Hardy interfere with the match was the worst idea ever since the creation of the Pet Rock.

- The women's triple threat match for a chance to face Trish for the women's championship belt was boring as hell. And what Trish did to Nidia was even more stupid than the Matt Hardy interference (read above). :very_ang:

Well, thanks to Triple H, Eugene Mania is meeting its end. OH DAMN YOU TRIPLE H!!! :blow_top:
