Well, it looks like I'm not going. I got hurt at work Thursday and can barely walk. I missed a few days of work so any chance of me going to RAW went straight down the toilet :crying:

I am really sorry to hear that, Arcademan...I hope you get well soon!:)

I would personally LOVE to attend a live WWE event someday, but I am not comfortable going to one alone. At least not without my brother around to keep me company and protect me from any idiots that could give me a hard time.

Believe it or not, the people at WWE events aren't that bad. But then again, you never know...

I've been to live WWE events before and it's a pretty cool atmosphere and the wrestlers themselves...they are way different outside of the ring than inside during the shows ;)

Well...they make these devices called a "VCR". It's function is to tape one show while you enjoy another.

If that doesn't work, you know they'll be RAW highlights throughout the week on the other shows ;)

I didn't see it coming. I thought HBK was going to turn heel. Trips has ruined another great Main-Event.

The ironic tragedy in all of this is if you guys had known me 4+ years ago I was the biggest Triple H mark-fanboy on the face of the planet. I was so in love with everything he did inside the ring and out. Now I can't stand him, and that makes me sad. He was easily one of my top 5 favourite wrestlers of all time, and I still find myself cheering for him sometimes. For every glimmer of the old Trips though there is 10 bullshit incidents like this! I hate the fact that one of my favourite wrestlers has pretty much been taken away from me. He really needs to step out of the main event scene for awhile and let some other people have their turn. It might be good for his career and image too. He should concentrate on Evolution and not the main event scene.

I'm really hoping he has a great match with Shelton next week. No bullshit, no DQs, no cheating...just a great match. Even if he wins, I just want to see if he still has it in him. As long as he doesn't bury Shelton and undo all of the good he has done for his career recently. I'm afraid the third time will be the charm though. I fear for Shelton next week :(

Huh?

So it turns out that Hunter makes a "surprise?" uninvited guest appearance, barging in to ruin this fated desert showdown...I wonder what annoying stunts he tried to pull in the middle of the match, and which of the two combatants he ended up squishing.

In any case...I assume that Benoit still has possession of the coveted WWE title, right?

I doubt that's going to happen. HBK might hit HHH with the Sweet Chin Music and giving Shelton his third win and HHH and HBK will feud again. If you think about it, it's not a bad thing. With HHH and HBK feuding it'll keep them out of the Main-Event scene.

That's a damn good point actually. Hopefully it works out that way. Shelton gets another rub from Hunter, and the main event scene goes unmolested for a bit. Not too long I would bet though :oh_no:

where's the rock? is he filming another movie?

Um...I am somewhat hesitant to point this out, but The Rock just cannot seem to draw really huge amounts of cash at the Box Office. I remember reading somewhere that Walking Tall cost around 45 million to produce and a couple million more to promote, but it had taken in only 40 million or so to date.:oh_no:

Not to insult the poor guy, but I thought that Walking Tall was probably one of the worst movies I have seen lately...The Rundown was pretty nice though!

But in any case, I still plan on seeing whatever new movie Dwayne happens to star in next!:)

Well...I guess it is rather safe to say that The People's Champion lost a lot of fans when he left to pursue Hollywood, but I respect all that he has done for the business. At the end of the day, both The Rock AND Foley have more than enough money to wave goodbye to wrestling forever, but they choose not to. Those two return whenever they can for the fans who still want to see them, and there are millions out there who do. So I would definitely NOT call Rock a sell-out.

However, anything the guy does PALES in comparision to the entertainment value I get out of watching the adorable Showster squishing the life out of his tiny and hopeless opponents!;)

Rocks movie career has been a little disappointing. Rundown cost something like $80 to make and market and took in just over half that at the box office. Same for Walking Tall. Scorpion King did well because it was a prequel to an already well established and lucrative Mummy franchise, not because of Teh Rock.

As far a Show goes, he needs a few midgets to squash.
