Yep, the one bad thing about any religion is the fact that humans run it. And in that, well, they tend to screw things up and twist things around.

Very true, and the English version of the bible you read from has been translated (by humans) atleast half a dozen times.

Take just one paragraph in Aramaic, then translate that to Hebrew, then translate that to Latin, then translate that to English. The result you get will sound little to nothing like the first paragraph you started off with.

So, the bible you're reading from is the word of humans. There is absolutely no way for it to be remotely accurate from it's original wording after all the translations.

Due to that, I don't personally consider any christian to worship god, they worship humans. The Koran however is still available in the original language it was first written in, so I consider Muslims to be the true worshipers of god.

But even if in original language, Tom Paine would have plenty to say that the Koran now is nothing like the Koran of 1500 years ago when it began as an oral tradition.

The continually progressive change to which the meaning of words is subject, the want of a universal language which renders translation necessary, the errors to which translations are again subject, the mistakes of copyists and printers, together with the possibility of willful alteration, are of themselves evidences that the human language, whether in speech or in print, cannot be the vehicle of the Word of God.
