If it's Soldier Blade, it should be on Hard mode, or one of the caravan modes. I 1CCed Normal no sweat on my second or third run through the game.

default difficulty is generally the standard. congrats on beating the game, but I however have never seen past level 3. I'll commit to the 2 score cards (normal mode/caravan) if Soldier blade is selected

Hard to not vote for the CPS2 jam- as I'm feeling nostalgic for nor cal crew meetings, and the fact that so many of us lived a stones throw from the ol' Capcom Coin-Op HQ.
