Honestly, as much as I loved Katamari Damacy, I really can't find myself getting too excited about this game. Maybe after I wrap of Valkyria Chronicles, Shining Force III, and MGS4 I'll give it a go. Until then, my backlog is just a bit too deep to give this one any attention.

I wrapped myself around the clouds for sometime yesterday. It's pretty fun. I just wish I knew how to get people to hop on. I somehow only managed to get 3 people on for a ride.

Man, I wasn't expecting another Katamari or anything, but this game isn't really a game even. The fairy all but tells you there's no real point to it.

It's very intriguing and all... But is it fun to play? No. I kind of regret the five bucks I blew on it. Ah well.

I just bought and played this for 2 hours straight without even realizing. The whole time I was wondering what the hell I was doing, and I haven't even figured out the specific mechanics of growing/digesting yet, but damn this is captivating. For some reason...

If they use actual distances, it will take 3 years for GIRL to reach mars at this rate...

I love the atmosphere. Gonna 1cc it soon.

I'm getting a little bored after a couple of hours of it, how is everyone else feeling about it?

I'm not really sure what you're supposed to do on the game really. You just stretch yourself, see who you can get to ride on the Boy, and fly around. I don't see myself getting very high in the rankings as is seems Japanese players have had this game way longer than we have.

I will have to say that was probably the easiest of the 3 Gold Trophies I have to get. Just eat the words Noby Noby Boy in the in-game manual.

I'm finding myself turning on Noby Noby Boy when I am not in the mood to get into a game, but want to play video games. I like the strange characters walking around. I'm excited for the next planet.

I think I've dumped about 3 hours into this so far. I like it.

I've played this a bit more, and so far, it just hasn't hooked me like it has some people. I find it's pretty stupid that it's getting stellar reviews, too... Sure, it's unique, but it still isn't what I'd call fun. Hell, it barely qualifies as a game.

If it didn't have trophies, I'd probably have abandoned it by now. Seems kind of pointless to me... Plus there's zero indication of what you can do, like eat and combine things. I had to read about that one somewhere, since you can only combine certain things and you have to push a button to do even that, and the game never tells you R2 is 'digest' as well.

Plus why the fuck is everything mapped to two buttons? What if I want to eat and not jump?

The more I think about it, the more I think this game is just badly designed. If it cost more than five bucks, I'd be pretty pissed, but as it stands, I guess it's not a rip-off.

It not explaining anything is the whole point. You screw around and maybe discover stuff. Maybe not.

I dont agree with your issue about eating and jumping either.

Still, if you just want to read a FAQ and whore some trophies then this is pretty cheap anyway.

I'm planning on DL'ing it soon, even though it goes against my usual gaming preferences of being able to kill everything.

If I wanted to discover stuff with no point I'd go outside. Then again, I'm sure I could discover a point that way, too.

Yep, that's also an option.

Personally, playing 30 mins of Nobi is more relaxing and possibly more interesting than walking around where I live unless I have company.
