pretty nice condition too... Farm fresh.

What would you pay for this Relic? 540$ too much?

Anyone else on this forum own a Red Tent?
I remember being a kid in the early 90's and the cade near my house had one with vs. Mario Bros and Tennis Awesome!

I've had one for a while, the difficult part with these is there is usually pretty bad burn in. Also if you're going for original the buttons/sticks can get pretty pricey. That one looks to be in pretty good shape, other than the A & B buttons being replaced. If that's really farm fresh I'm surprised as the the paint is amazing and no scratches on the black around the control panel either. Just a thin layer of dirt, I'd guess it's just been in storage for a bit. Certainly one of the nicer examples I've seen. Still $540 with the games might be a tad high, but if it looks that nice in person with little or no burn, I'd say it's worth it.

I'd surely love to take that Daytona 2 off your hands. :buttrock:

I bought mine for $250 with Excitebike and SMB, it was fun for a while but in the end it is a giant NES. I had to end up getting rid of it as I could not justify that much space being taken up just to play a few NES games which I already own. Cool piece though, it was fun while I had it.

I have two Red Tents. One I just restored and created some custom graphics for it, one side SMB and the other side Excitebike. I put it in my tattoo shop and its a pretty big hit. My other red tent is getting gutted and made into a multiplayer hyperspin cabinet with dual LCD's and PC's inside. I wouldnt gut it out but its in pretty rough shape.

I paid $200 for the one I restored, and nearly got the rough shape one free, cost of gas to go pick it up.

Im not one for custom stickers, but even I have to admit it does look pretty boss and what i would expect it to look like if it was released today, kudos!

Right, they are slightly different, just not enough for me to want to house the red tent. I sold it to get my NAC so there is no regret there. Sweet Playchoice, though that thing looks minty. Also nice Donpachi marquee in the background, I was so close to winning one on the bay just a few days back.

I'd be down to pick that up, but I'm maxed out for my arcade spending this month. I'm not big into the Playchoice systems, but the Countertop models are near amazing. :)
