There's no way that's a fake...could you imagine the time and devotion to do that? The font on the controller even matches the font on the actual pics of demo hardware made in the 90s. It's been said that at least 200 of these were made...so one going home with a Nintendo employee doesn't seem to far of a stretch.
This thing needs to get into the hands of someone who can tap into it properly. The video you posted on youtube seems like it's some moron that currently has it...dumb ass can't even figure out how to power it up when it clearly has a voltage and polarity on the back above the power port.
The absolute worst thing that could happen to this would be for him to sell it to the highest bidder and it living out its days in a glass case in someone's basement somewhere.
I so badly want to see that thing fired up...
