NGPC turf masters clubs

Hey guys, have had my pocket for a while now and recently got one for my son (that makes 3 in the house now and well over 40 games) so that means multiples of turf masters and multi-player. My question is in turf masters, what benefit do the club "cards" have and how do you use them during a game? With no instructions or faq available, i cannot figure this out.


On a side note, my son and everyone else that has touched a NGPC agree, why is this the only handheld with a decent joystick??? Can't nintendo or someone else revive this as the cross pad just plan sucks...

anyway, thanks for any help, i guess it is time to stop lurking and start posting my opinions.

club cards? i play turfmasters and i havewnt got a clue what a club card is. my only clubcard is my subway one. Buy 4 subs get one free! mmmm.... club special sandwich...

that was pretty funny...
apparently if you win the triple crown or when you play against someone you recieve clubs (listed in collection under options).
so far i have:
1wood of luminosity
4wood of freezing ice
5wood of gale
1iron of invincibility
6iron of the mighty
PW of the empyrean
&
Putter of the Goddess

BUT NO subway sub club card....and still can't figure out how to use these incredible sounding clubs

by the way rockman battle coming in the mail sonn!!!!!!! can't wait, should be here this week, just hope i am not disappointed....

cool! i have only ever got to the second round of triple crown, but then i nearly annhialated my ngpc cos i got two O.B's and a triple bogey. Thats given me incentive to complete the triple crown! thanks man! You rock!



BTW, go to your local subway, get a 3 foot made-to-order sandwich, and you should be able to get a 680 yard drive out of it! then eat it.

I know I started the thread, but have since found the answer. When you beat the bloody tournament you then have acess to the legendary clubs. Before starting a game it asks you if you want to use them. The first time I saw them was playing 2 player with my son -- the winner gets clubs after each course.

Yeah, you have the option of using the 'Clubs Of Legend' at the start of a single round or Triple Crown. Beware though, (I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone else), but one time I used the Clubs Of Legend, the game didn't save my score...

You get a random club by winning a vs. game.

You get a complete set of clubs by winning the Triple Crown. You also get a complete set of clubs for every hole-in-one or albatross you get (awarded at the end of the round).
