Man, I just don't know what to do. I want to play this game, but there's also Disgaea DS and even more importantly, the Sonic RPG coming out later this month. Having too many quality RPGs isn't the worst problem to have, but I'll be damned if I know which one I'm going to end up buying.

I'll be there day 0 with bells on. Wifi Co-op?! O rly!

Heads up - According to CAG, Circuit City is doing the $10 gift card giveaway with this game like they did with FFIV. I might have to cancel my pre-order if GS gets it the same day.

Hopefully I'll have Tales of Vesperia beaten by then.

I'm getting this. I'm still going to beat Dragon Warrior IV on the NES before I play it though (I'm most of the way through the 5th chapter).

It will be pretty rad not having to go through a menu to open a door :vik:

I had it pre-ordered @ Gamestop, but was out of town and couldn't pick it up.

Circuit City still haven't gotten it in today. Damn UPS.

Graphics are awesome, and the gameplay is the old-school grindfest DQ has always been.

Got the guide, too, and already found some errors in the maps. (screwed-up treasure chest locations, and missing (A) marker on a stairway - and that's just the first tower.)

Al least BradyGames still bothers to put maps in their guides. (Yes, I'm talking to you, Prima. You may officially suck my balls. You haven't made a good guide since Star Ocean 2.)

If only DoubleJump could make a guide for a S-E game...

I decided to Gamefly this, so I should have it tomorrow. If I really like it, I will just buy it through them.

Doublejump guides are amazing. They remind me of the game guides Japan gets, tons of content, beautiful art, compact design. They really shit all over the same old Brady/Prima guides.

Which reminds me, I really need to get that Disgaea 3 Doublejump guide..

Yep, the Castlevania Double Jump guide is amazing. I still give it a quick once through every now and again.

I was going to post the same. That is one of my favorite guides of all time. I was really disappointed when they didn't make the guide for the second Castlevaina game but they stated that Konami didn't ask them to do it.

As I said in the I liek DragonWarrior Thread, I've enjoying this game quite a bit.

I can't believe we've waited six years for this game to get a remake in English.

I'd rather have it on a portable than a PS1 anyway.

I tried looking up on wiki why this got canned on PS1, but they've got nothing. Didn't the studio that was working on it go under?

That came out in Japan. It just never made it here. Probably why there isn't anything on it. It does exist, just not in English.

So this game is getting a pretty solid "8" or so average from the reviews.

I probably would have bought it regardless, but that confirms that nothing was tampered with too much.

How you guys liking it? I went to pick it up a couple days ago but couldn't find it.
I should probably try Walmart...they carry all the Squeenix stuff.
