EVO's tomorrow!

So what time will you guys be by to pick me up? I need to know so I can make the proper arrangements. Will we be getting a room or doing the commute thing, what's the plan?

it's 3am now. finally getting to sleep after being at george's since 8am working on the project (which failed to function during our test run a few hours ago -- taiki is hopeful he can get the prob sorted out tomorrow night so we can try to have it for evo on saturday).

i'm getting up at 5am to shower, pack up consoles to take w/me, and pick up kumagaitoshiro between 5:45 and 6am. if dom-chan and/or heather need a lift to evo and want to go camp out at the ballroom doors w/me and toshiro at such an early hour, give me a call at 5:05am. if y'all don't want to head out that early, taiki said he figured he'd try heading to the red rock around 9 or 10am, so you could also call him.

EDIT: (5:16am) just spoke to Dom-chan -- I'm picking her up right after i get toshiro, and the 3 of us will head to the red rock casino. heather is still sleeping, so i told anna to have her call taiki when she gets up to see about arranging a ride to evo.

I've got a bunch of chores to get caught up on. Also, I have to start the process of returning all the stuff that we didn't use on Alpha (Zero) and that we won't need for Beta.

Matsuda-san, his boss, his coworkers, and their wives and kids arrived in Las Vegas this afternoon to start their Las Vegas vacation. I have to meet them at their hotel immediately after work so I can drive a few of them to the rental car company to pick up their SUVs (salarymen on a gas-guzzling rampage). At this point, I'm still waiting for Matsuda-san to provide me with a copy of their itinerary, so everything with me is kind of up in the air until they fly back out the morning of the 28th. It's very unlikely that I'll be available for meeting up / drinkery tonight.

Speaking of Matsuda-san, he's going to be interested in meeting as many of the local NEO enthusiasts as possible, being something of a fan himself. I'd like to ask all the locals to please post a reply asap, indicating when you might have a few hours free between now and 8/27 (Sunday), either to hang out, go to dinner, or whatever (I wonder if Matsuda-san might be up for "Snakes on a Plane"...). I'll post an update regarding when Matsuda-san is going to be free to hang out.

Chupiler is planning to drive in to Las Vegas on Saturday to visit w/Matsuda-san, and I'm putting Chupiler up overnight. That being the case, I was thinking of setting up games (including Chupiler's supergun) in the front rooms and inviting the locals over. I'll send emails to everyone w/my address, since my PM box is terminally full.
