I will probably die on this hill but Rogue One wasn't that bad in retrospect

I saw 'episode IV' in 1977, like almost every fan that established Star Wars as a cinematic juggernaut for later generations to enjoy.
How the rebels ended up with 'the Death Star' tapes is, literally, the least important aspect of the entire saga.
I know this because for 40 years, nobody cared. It didn't matter and learning how it happened, whether through Dark Forces or through the Disney chronology, is simply unimportant to the overall story. It is a meaningless series of events.
Rogue One is not needed for people to watch and enjoy Star Wars. My mind is blown that anyone would watch the very first film only AFTER watching Rogue One to 'see what happens next.'
EDIT: not shading you at all, Hanzo.
How many Bothans?Bitch I still wanna find out how many Bothans died for Jedi.
I want Rogue 2, set before V and VI.
Also, that Rotta guy was featured in the Clone Wars (the one with Ahsoka). He was Jabbas.... son? Nephew? I cant remember.
Ah no, that reminded me. No, its Jabbas son. The gay one that spoke english was Zero, his (Jabbas) brother. How many Bothans?
Many.
It was many.
Not a few.
Many.
As for Rotta, was he the gay hutt from the Clone Wars movie?
The Gigachad of Hutts. Bro's got gains!
Tatooine gainsA ripped Hutt is quite possibly the dumbest shit in a long line of dumb shit Star Wars has spat out over the last 30 years. Tough to say though... that bar is reaaaalllly high.
