I also think it should be deleted. I just did this out of shear boredem. So revs right lets take this out. The bitter people are getting mad and might explode at any moment.

This really pathetic. Yeah, obviously you were pretty freakin bored, AN, but Shawn should consider getting some new mods. And, YES (!!!), I DO want a porn addict modding it up! Vote for MATT! And AztekNinja! And maybe BBH! And my grandma!

The thread needs locking because it went from a good point raised by Charlie into a chat session (no offence fellas - but you kinda spammed the thread).
All those names that have been mentioned so far - there's too much cronyism there. A mod should be a pretty independent guy with a sensible head on his shoulders who isn't going to ban someone just 'cause his 'mate' asks him too.
I don't have a problem with any of the mods, but Bobak has been neglecting his role. The reviews section needs updating - hasn't been done for ages. He's never around.
Ryogeo and Mouse Master sort of 'pop in and out'.
Jeff is the technical mod. I don't think his role really is to go around banning people. Although I suppose he does have the power to do that.
Apart from Shawn himself, I only see Bio regularly patroling the forums... and I don't see him as often as I used too.

Well back to the point of the thread. None taken tarma yes it was mistake i regret now its just that boredom overtook me. You bring out some good points man there should be at least one more mod. That will actively take control and make sure everything is running smoothly. Now i do not nominate anyone because from the choices people have given here there not good. I think maybe a third party source from somewhere else would be better.

Sometimes I feel as if I don't tend to these forums enough, but then I realize that I'll be back on-campus here in a few weeks. Despite the fact that I'll be busier (this is my final year of undergrad), I'll have more access to the forums due to the fat pipe connection I'll have in the dorms/labs. Back home, all I can get is a kludgey-assed 28.8kbps dial-up connection that makes getting anything done a real chore. These backwater phone lines are so shitty that I sometimes have to make numerous attempts at even getting a stable connection.
If it's decided that we're in need of a new mod/replacement mod (although I thik we're rocking along just fine as-is), I'd give my vote to any of the following: EW, Blaine, or Jigen. All three of those guys are very knowledgeable and spend quite a bit of time on these forums.

We weren't discussing replacements, just an extra mod to back things up.I'd rather see a european mod just to have the forums in check 24h/day but I don't see many viable potential EU-mods...
