New James Bond Game without a new James Bond

If it’s not Golden Eye I’m not really interested personally. Has there been a James Bond game without the character being a James Bond from the movie series?

The character looks too young, and the watch looks like something from Mission Impossible

Not saying it won’t be good just not interested on first impressions. Not interested in Hitman either not my type of game. Surprised there’s some new James Bond character.

If it gets some buzz I may check it out though. More of a bigger fan of James Bond movies than have ever been of his games. Kind of like a fan of football but have no interest in NCAA or Madden for the past 20 years.

I'm someone who'd love having Sean Connery in a new game like From Russia with Love which was pretty damn cool on the PS2/bawx, so I know what you mean.

Yeah in the PS2 era for some reason they didn’t get Pierce Brosnan’s likeness so they did a blend of “Bonds” to make EA Bond for Agent under Fire and I think for Nightfire as well.

I’m interested in this game because it’s by IO Interactive, the Hitman devs, and Hitman 3/the Hitman Trilogy is honestly one of the best games I’ve ever played. Small open world stages with a variety of ways to complete your objectives, great dark humor, and some the scripted kills are just great. An insanely entertaining game.

I know this won’t be Hitman with a bond skin but I do expect a lot of fun gadget based gameplay.

I think it looks great, probably exactly what the bond franchise needs for a videogame. Bear in mind most of you gave up gaming after the N64 and have no idea what a good game looks like anymore so just pretend you're nine and play Megaman for the 8000th time x

Yeah so this released and I kinda forgot about it until social media brought it up. MUST... CONSUME...

I haven't got too far yet but it seems like Hitman for normies, a lot of scripted set pieces and a solid story to go along with the gameplay. But I have to admit the story has been quite engaging so far, which is a surprise because all Hitman games' stories have been fucking crap "press X to skip" fodder. It's Bond + Bourne, or something like that IDK. Graphics are gorgeous too, it doesn't get to photorealistic wankery levels but it's close, it's all quite well modelled and consistent. Been playing on dat 4070 ti super.
