Love the Atari cover art, reminds me of the days when not every damn piece of contemporary game and comic artwork or graphic novel had an Anime influence. Gritty, kinda crappy, in-yer-face, here's ripped Billy and Jimmy who will kick all sorts of thug ass and save the girl. Just what's needed for a game like that IMHO.

Frankly, I would think it would be better if the characters Billy, Jimmy, Marian and Abobo were in the style of their respective versions of the Double Dragon Fighting Game for the NeoGeo, changing at least the characters' heads to be these versions. Since I see that even Abobo is using the voice of the NeoGeo version. Billy, Jimmy could use these voices too or even extra voices made by an AI voice generator.

Just be patient and wait for a retropie update including FbNeo or Mame that will officially support the demo.
Yeah.. emulators generally don't support new roms out of the box that's sad ^^

For those allergic to digital content, I've also opened a pop-up store in the marketplace section, where I'm offering - exceptionally - physical copies of those games. Again, you can find stuff at all prices, from little CDs to big carts. Yes, these are all that will be on offer for now...

Is Double Dragon any good on Neo Geo? I've only played the original arcade.

The officially released Double Dragon game from Technos from back in the day on the Neo Geo is a one-on-one fighter, and it's okay. It has its fans.

The new homebrew Double Dragon One seems to have gotten positive feedback so far.

Played through it the other night. Its not bad, but has its flaws.

Too easy to beat the final boss, just stunlock the guy and down he goes after a while. Its also pretty short, only like 7 levels, and its got "Beta" at the bottom of the screen where the difficulty level would be. Id rather have the option to turn that off (unless it has it and Im not seeing it).

Its fun though. I enjoyed it.
