Weird, but looks like it could have potential if it's legit. I wonder if Arc would step in and put the kabosh on the project especially since their own DD game is about to come out?

I like the arranged soundtrack. If it was a straight port of the original it would automatically become the best Neo Geo beat em up.

Nah I'd pass, the home versions are infinitely better, Technos was fucking up with their arcade division starting with Double Dragon and its incomprehensible slowdowns, it wasn't TOO bad but afterwards I think Double Dragon 2 is the only game I've ever walked out of with a quarter in. That's one franchise I don't mind remixes remakes and regoobenings

Agreed. I was thinking in case they might goob it up further. Super Double Dragon was my personal favorite.

It looks pretty good so far. It's off to a great start.

I am getting Sengoku 3 vibes though. ie looks good but boring as all get out. Beat em ups really need variety as they tend to overstay their welcome fast.

I never owned the Zeebo, but I remember completing a version of Double Dragon that looked and played just like this on iOS back in the day.

With Double Dragon Advance being available on Steam and current consoles again, I think I’m good, but I know there are a lot of fans who are always looking forward to new beat em ups on the Neo.

Edit
This was the one on iOS I mentioned:

Fucking lol... why are the sprites walking over the background? They're supposed to look like they're on the same plane. Nice Amiga music in the intro. Not.

Yeah, hard pass. Idiots like this should leave legendary IPs well alone.

The intro is "demo scene" as fuck. I aint even mad at it.

Sprites need some shadows to make them look more like they're not just fighting on a background. Some background animation here and there would be nice too.

Honestly, not bad, especially as homebrews go. But if you pay $500 for a cart of it, you're an idiot.

Bitch please. This is homebrew and jank as fuck, they’re obviously not taking themselves seriously.
