I wonder, if anyone of you ever covered some Neo tunes...

me and my band are planning to play the BGM from the zombie stage of Metal Slug 3. I guess, our guitarist has to practise some more time ^_^

Has anyone of you upped some tracks for download?

In case you didn´t knew about the minibosses:

Check Minibosses-Homepage

They´ve covered the Mega Man 2-Sounds, Castlevania-Sounds and some more.

Nice project!

I'd love to cover some KoF tunes, especially the '99 batch of arranged themes. I'm not in a band though. :annoyed:

I have. I haven't done anything lately though. I'm definitely going to be doing 'tears' from the 99 soundtrack as soon as I get a pickup installed on my acoustic.

No, unfotunately I´m not. We founded our band in December. We´re covering songs.

And now we´ve covered the Metal Slug 3 BGM of the zombie-stage. It´s a 1,57 MB sized .wma-file. The track lasts 1.07min. Not sooo good quality, but we played it the first time altogether... ^_^

I´ve to wait for my friend till he uploads it. Then everyone can download it to hear that stuff.

I would post the link then.

There´s a good chance, but the bassman is a SEGA/Shining Force-Freak, the guitarist is a kick-ass-NES-Fanboy our singer doesn´t like videogames at all - but I liiiiiiike SNK-Stuff...

I guess we´ll keep it up - I have to bring up good arguments, that we play more SNK-tunes.

He is a 'she' ^_^

I like her when she sings Zombie from the Cranberries, but - like all other bandmates - she´s not a professional, but we all give our best in performing various tracks.

I see... and you were planning to perform any game music with lyrics?

Game music including lyrics always sounds better IMO.

I loved the Miles-theme from Sonic Adventure...

And if it is a track without lyrics, we have to create own lyrics, I guess.

I LOVE that kind of stuff :)
I m not verry talented at electric guitar but i have a good piano/synth feeling (i can play whatever i heard on it).

I wish i had the time and talent to learn better the guitar... i stopped when a friend taught me stairway to heaven because it destroyed my fingers but now it should be ok, i ve recovered.

You may want to consider compromising... do a shining force tune, then a NES tune, then a SNK tune. Who needs vocals anyway, personally I long to hear more instrumental stuff anyway.

I got the Neo Geo Pocket Color menu screen on guitar that one of my best friends wrote (despite the fact he doesn't have a NGPC, but it still kicks ass.) Anyone want me to upload it somewhere?

I've been thinking about doing jungle/drum'n'bass, house and breakbeat remixes of a few SNK songs. But i'm a lazy fuck and usually my free time is spent, sleeping, surfing the net or getting my gear ready for the club:D
