Neo Pocket US release of LB and Faselei!

recently I won an auction that included alot of SNK US promo materials that were handed out at the different trade shows. in it was about 40+ flyers of SNK games mostly pocket (some PS).

Anyway amoung others it included the flyers for Faselei and The Last Blade US (Not Uk)As we all know these games were saleted for a q2 2000 release which did not occur because of the pull out.

However the interesting thing is the flyers include the artwork of the boxes and the UPS code. Now I know these games made it to the UK (differnt box art) Not the US just thought it was interesting. Could there by some US boxes out there somewhere, OR do you think they were all destroyed or a run was never done of the artwork (what I imagine).However, There should at least be a demo US box I would think. Here are the FLyers pics. Something to Ponder. I like the Faselei front artwork myself. I provide them in links for those bandwidth impaired (~70k each)

Yes, I've seen those promo materials surface before... I believe Finnil also won a ton of NGPC promo posters off ebay... One of them was a KOULDELKA poster! I guess that game was in the works too?

Koudelka? You mean the PSX game? That was released in Japan and the U.S. both.

Yes, I did win a few NGPC posters on Ebay including one for Kouldelka ...

Mine had the Koudelka as well, Although it was the PS version. Would be interesting to see a NGPC flyer for it

I think they all came from E3 '99... somebody correct me if I'm wrong. It seems I remember seeing a S:NGP report on that E3 w/ shots of the Kouldelka poster and a couple others. BTW, that might not be a kouldelka ngpc poster, I just assumed it was since it was w/ the ngpc stuff.

I've heard (from a source within SNK-USA) that there even at least one prototype made up for each of the US boxes of Faselei!, Last Blade and Dynamite Slugger. They were probably destroyed, though, unless some good-hearted SNK-USA employee rescued them.

There probably weren't ever any cartridges made with US labels on them, bu the prototype boxes would still be a pretty neat thing to stumble across a couple years down the road at a yard sale in San Jose.

Thanks for showing those pics. I would not have hesitated a second to get those games had they come out here (I'm still kicking myself for not snapping up some of the other games when I could have for dirt cheap).

yes it was the actually box but at the time i saw it i had no money then my bro told me that all the neo pocket games were recalled went all over the place to find it and all the neo pocket were gone all they had was some used games

False alarm !
It is a SNK / Playstation poster for Kouldelka.
They appear to be identical to Big Bruno's.
