eh, PunchOut has more in common with Crossed Swords than Super Spy...Super Spy...Oh God...I went through it to know about the whole Geese thing...not gonna share on the discovery, let the curious suffer like I did.

Baseball Stars 2 and Neo Turf Masters, which was made with crack cocaine and a beautiful mix of the best drugs in the planet!

I'm all in for NSG ;).

And since we see it now as a Punch-Out!! excuse... much l.o.v.e. here for Crossed Swords, too. An incredibly unique game & ADK at their best.

We should make a thread for it, we can pretend all those Neo games are part of a bigger sports event or something...

NTM, of course.

But golf isn't a real sport anyway. Neither is bowling. If your grandfather could feasibly beat you at it, it isn't a sport.

I gotta agree within you there famicommander and I'd like to add 3 more "sports" to the list as well, pool, snooker and darts.

I don't think anyone here is calling them sports games. We're just making the comparison wishing there was a punchout game or a boxing game for the Neo.

Something similar to Super Punch Out would be amazing on the Neo Geo

Apologies, i hear you ElectricGrave,
personally think super spy is closest to punch out, a version on the neo would be the dog's especially if done MMA style with choke hold's, and throws in there as well, be fun...

Neo Turf Masters is definitely superb, I had a non-retro/Neo friend come round recently and we played it all evening so it surely stands up gameplay wise! Does Windjammers count as a sport game, again amazingly good fun with two players :)

I have played a soccer game once. Not sure which one but I enjoy very much the ball hitting the referee head and then fall s very funny.

Baseball Stars 2 has to be my big fav on the system. - It got me into baseball games! ( 2020 too! )
Neo Turf Masters. No other golf game comes close to this. Nothing. Niente. Nada.
Windjammers. So unique and addicting. I just wished it had more period. Best Data East game on the Neo.
Super Sidekicks. The first is the better one. It's music gets you pumped from kick off to the final whistle.
Thrash Rally. I always loved overhead racing games and as a kid, seeing that game on magazines left me amazed. I later found a cab with it, but only tried the game when I layed my hands on a AES on a videogame store. Still play it often. "Camion" rocks :buttrock:

Yeah man. I used to love that kinda thing on the old FIFA for Megadrive. Power the ball into someone's face and then watch the replay 20 times :)

Top selection, regarding SS though... did you notice that there is no change of sides after the first half? Like in versus fighting games.

Does anyone play League Bowling using the connection cable across multiple consoles? That would be an awesome multi-player experience!
