Hello. I just received my Neo Geo Pocket in the mail today. It's great, and i never raelized just how small it and its games are. I have just one probelem. When i power up and power down i get a a yellow dialog box on a red background saying "Sub Battery Dead. Memory Failure Immenent. Change Battery." I don't think this is the regular batteries? I mean i just put brand new batteried in it, not the ones that came with it in the box. How easily can this problem be fixed? Should i contact the store i bought it from. Thanks

Your sub-battery is housed in the circular compartment on the other side of the back of the unit. You open it with a coin, although if your unit is new it may not be done up. I advise wrapping paper around the coin before you open the compartment, as the coin will tend to chew the plastic.
You should have a battery included to put in there, a CR2032, like in a Dreamcast VMU. If you do not, it is easy to get one!
BTW, you can play the unit without this battery being present, although , you wont be able to save most games!
Just wait until the "sub battery dead" message goes away, and the unit will boot up the game!

Basically its a lithium watch battery -- you can buy one from Best Buy, Wal-Mart, etc.
