Could someone tell me whether it's ok to use a different AC adaptor (non SNK) on my Neo? I just got it, and i have no games to test it out on yet, but i would really like to know. I know that it's 8W, and i have an AC adaptor with an INPUT of 8W. could someone help me?

My U.S. Neo cart system (older system, serial number 13208) has an AC adapter with the following specs:
PRO-POW-UL
Model No. NEO-O
Input: 120V ~60Hz 22W
Output: DC 5V 3A
As for using another AC adapter, Jeff Kurtz found a good replacement AC adapter, non-SNK, that requires some very small modifications and works fine. He covered this in a previous post in the Tech Support section, look back for the post. Or, if you'd like him to acquire and mod one for you, email him. I'm not sure he wants to do these, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
