I hear you on this, I try to get the games I know I wouldn't mind having in my collection but some people are completist and will buy even though they don't like the game

The one auctioned is the first I've seen since my comeback into the NG scene (I don't remember if it was 2000 or 2001).

I sometimes hate to be a collector :(

That's a sweetass deal. When I started collecting back in 2002 till 2006 then I left Neo scene to buy something else. They were selling around that price. Now I came back at the end of 2009 and to see such prices rise like double at times.

I would've been all over that for $550.

What's this all about? I saw this auction pop up earlier today, but I shrugged it off as ridiculously overpriced, but a few hours later I see that it's been purchased!

A boxed AES with the first three Fatal Fury games for $1,059? Am I missing something?

Thats insane, since xmas theres been some really stupid or loaded buyers. I could never justify paying that much for a boot. You could by a CMVS and PI2 and still have some change.
