I got a top loader and the spindle is low. I was thinking instead of just raising it, would it be a good idea to replace it with a spindle from another system like a PS1 or Dreamcast?
Update: Originally whenever I put on a game or audio CD it wouldn't read them but once I switched the spindle with one from a Dreamcast it works. So, I recommend swapping spindles. At least it worked for me
