Some of the past conversions showed that warning message. They still worked on real hardware (with or without SD Loader) just fine. You could try converting it to a CHD if using it with an emulator and it should work.
Converting it to chd did not work for me in these two specific cases (captain tomaday and neo bomberman) but it did work for all the other conversions (i dont remember if the other conversions showed the ISO warning though) 🤔

todosnk,
If you want to send me an email, I can send you the link to Neo Bomberman. It works on Final Burn Neo, after iq_132 gave me a fix to generate the iso. I believe it will work on Retroarch. You just need to convert it to chd or whatever format you use.
Best regards

Here's another conversion:

Captain Tomaday!

There should be no noticeable cuts with very short loads between stages.
I have added a Soft Dip for infinite lives.
Note that if you set the soft dips, the music will stop playing. You'll have to back out of the game and re-load it, but it will respect the dips after that.

Thanks again to NeoSeeD for testing!

Download the build package here.

iq_132, I don't know if it helps, but running Captain Tomaday in Final Burn in debug mode it shows the following log after restarting:

Thanks, I tried to PM you, but seems the forum is not allowing you to receive messages. Feel free to send me one, if you have the possibility :)

I couldn't send you a PM either. See if you can send me your email in my profile post.

Here are fixed "run me.bat"'s for karnov and neo bomberman.

It appears that the CDZ bios that is being emulated doesn't actually load .OBJ (compressed sprite files).
Even if you specify SPRITE.OBJ in the ipl.txt, it will sill try to load SPRITE.SPR (uncompressed).
This is causing them both to fail on emulated hardware.

Captain Tomaday has some other strangeness going on on emulated hardware. I'm working on it. I've at least got it booting now, but with some broken graphics.

This version worked on Final Burn Alpha.
Can this version also be used on console or is the previous version better?
It seemed to work fine on the couple of minutes of testing I did on real hardware.
The previous version will have very slightly faster loading times.

Hello,

I have released a conversion for Digger Man.
Note that the base game is very buggy, so any reports of strange behavior are generally going to be ignored for this one.

This game, if you want to call it that, is a prototype(?) by Kyle Hodgetts.
There is no AES mode or Free Play option for the game as far as I can tell.
I removed all accesses to SRAM and pointed them elsewhere so that that game wouldn't crash the NeoGeo CD system, and had to hack in "coin" buttons (now mapped to "select").

You can download the build package here.

Hello, my friend @iq_132 . As a suggestion, I’d like to add a few small-sized games to the list. Games : Super Dodge Ball, Waku Waku 7, Ultimate 11 Super Sidekicks, Neo Geo Cup '98, Ganryu, and Sengoku 3.

What do you think about this idea?

Pop'n Bounce has already been ported to the Neo Geo CD. Ganryu, on the other hand, would be fantastic to have on CD. Thanks for all your hard work.

A long time ago I made a conversion of Quiz Daisousa Sen - The Last Countdown, it works well on emulators, but I don't know if it works on the real console, I have no way to test it

Hi friend, can you share it to test it on the real machine?

I've tried it on the Neo Geo SD Loader and the sound doesn't work. I even have to restart the console after exiting the game because the sound goes blank for every game after trying this one. What could be wrong? Thanks for sharing. It's graphically impressive.

The M1 is 88KB. It's likely overwriting anything > 64kb back into the beginning of the M1 rom.
You'll probably get sfx, but some broken music once you trim the M1/Z80 rom down to the proper (64kb) size.

*edit*
Trimming the Z80 to 64kb does make it play some sound, but it craps out shortly after.

iq_132,
I tested Digger Man on Final Burn Neo and it works perfectly.

IIRC and not mistaken from what I saw, there was an official port in development of Super Dodge Ball for the ngcd. But that content might never ever see the light of day, because official=licenses, something like that?

BTW I thought you would ask for motw. :ROFLMAO:
MOTW,
Let’s do what we can and what fits in the main memory. After we finish all these types of games, who knows...
Neo CD still has many games to be ported.
If I could really choose, among the bigger games I’d pick Blazing Star. @iq_132
