You'll have to redownload the package and rebuild the ISO. I accidentally left the cheat enabled. Let me know if that doesn't work.
All good. Thanks for the fix!

Hi @iq_132. Just curious, does it include this fix?

Any plans to update some of your past videos with information on these new CD conversions in the future?

Hello. Thank you all so much for creating new content for my beloved Neo Geo CD. It's my favorite console, and this year has been incredible. You're making history!

I'm very new to programming; I only play video games and have no experience. So I've been unable to install the KARNOV (1987) ROM. I always get some kind of error, and the same thing happens with the new Nightmare in the Dark.

Where did you get the ROMs so I could convert them to disc?
Could you help me? Thank you all so much for your dedication. Greetings from Spain.
P.S. I have installed a Neo Geo CD SD Loader player from Furtek.

Unfortunately, my project management skills pale in comparison to kernow's whining. He's the true envy of little girls all over the world.

I tried to run Nightmare in the Dark in Final Burn Neo and it doesn't get past this screen.
Best regards.

Anyone else have issues with Zed Blade? I've tried two different burns now, both with different ISO's and both freeze after about 15 minutes, forcing a manual power off and restart.

Both Zupapa! and Shinobi run fine - but Zed Blade is giving me trouble, which is annoying because I'm quite enjoying playing it while I can.

Unzip these files to the "data" directory in the builder, overwriting the nitd.s68 that's there, and re-build your ISO.
It's checking to see if it's running on a bootleg MVS motherboard, and failing the tests.
I've hacked the check out.

Can you provide any details? Is it always failing at the same spot? What region is your console set to? Any mods?

If you leave the game running on attract mode it usually freezes when it cycles around to the very first screen you see after the game first loads up - but this is after about 15 minutes of running attract mode.

In game, usually around 15 minutes of game time, and at the end of the level (whichever level - it's not specific).

Also, appears to be a lot of tearing in the moon background at the end of level 2. (Does the MVS cart do this?)

Running on a factory standard CDZ.

Iq_132 thanks for the answer. I tested Nightmare in The Dark on FinalBurn Neo with the fix and it worked perfectly.
Karnov NeoGeo CD on Final Burn Neo also gives an ID error, will you release an update?
Best regards

Here is your request for Golden Axe with the songs from the Arcade version, my friend. I made two versions, one in Wav mode and the other in MP3.

See you soon.

Link de Download (Golden Axe NeoGeo CD Arcade Version OST)
Alternatively, here's a link to Golden Axe with the PS2 Sega Ages Vol. 5 soundtrack that I put together about 6 weeks ago and forgot about. There's no "Ranking" track in the PS2 version, so I had to make my own.

Thanks for this, Relikk. That version that you quoted unfortunately cuts off parts of the tracks. Your version works perfectly and is a soundtrack I hadn't given a chance to prior.

Hello!

I've finished up a conversion of Neo Bomberman to NeoGeo CD.

Download build scripts here

Things of note:
- Only a few sounds were shortened, everything should be there.
- No loads after the initial load.
- Soft dips can cause issues, don't touch/create them.

Thanks to NeoSeeD for testing this one.

Wife and I had a blast (pun intended) while playing this. Thanks for sharing!

Hey my friend @iq_132 , I have a question. I was playing on the Neo Geo CDZ and noticed that, unlike other games, this one doesn't save the last stage played on the console when you get a game over. Is that normal?

Yes, it's normal. The game notoriously doesn't have a save feature.

Here's another conversion:

Captain Tomaday!

There should be no noticeable cuts with very short loads between stages.
I have added a Soft Dip for infinite lives.
Note that if you set the soft dips, the music will stop playing. You'll have to back out of the game and re-load it, but it will respect the dips after that.

Thanks again to NeoSeeD for testing!

Download the build package here.

Thanks a lot for the new games!

I'm probably doing something wrong, but Captain Tomaday and Neo Bomberman do not work for me, when all the other conversions worked just fine.
This time building the conversion I'm having this error:

Warning: creating filesystem that does not conform to ISO-9660.

Any thoughts? Checking expected CRCs, everything seems to be fine. I'm using retroarch with NeoCD core, the built iso does boot fine, but game crashes while doing the main load.

Thank you!!

Iq_132,
I created the (cue+bin) to test Captain Tomaday in Final Burn Neo and after the first load, the game restarts. If you want, I can send you the generated (cue+bin). But I noticed that when generating the iso with your .bat file, it gives this message Warning: creating filesystem that does not conform to ISO-9660.
Best regards

Some of the past conversions showed that warning message. They still worked on real hardware (with or without SD Loader) just fine. You could try converting it to a CHD if using it with an emulator and it should work.

Final Burn Neo does not accept chd (only single bin+cue Mode 1/2352). I talked about the warning, because the other games I transformed I did not receive this message. Apparently the user todosnk using retroarch had the same error as I had after loading.
Best regards

I don't use Final Burn, but Retroarch definitely accepts CHD's for Neo CD.
