I don't think that option is available on the AES console unibios. Even if I change the region settings to arcade, unibios only allows for "Game Softdip settings" instead of "General Settings".

The Unibios readme shows input crossing as MVS only unfortunately.

*Edit. Confirmed on MiSTer. Once I ran as MVS unibios, I was able to insert a coin. If I ran as AES unibios, even is set to arcade, a coin cannot be inserted.

That's good information. I'll see what I can do about fixing this soon.

@iq_132 I can confirm the same problem on my console. Pressing select to add credits works on MVS systems, but it does not work on my AES.

--Fix for Stage 3 crash (and others) implemented to get proper jump table value when seeking to a table jump position that doesn't exist for a stage.
----This is indeed a bug in the original game, but address mapping on MVS and AES forgives certain ranges, whereas on the NGCD, certain ranges (such as D00000), are unmapped and cause a fault.
--Added bonus outfit for P1 8man.
----Accessible by holding the D button as the game finishes loading and starts the game for the first time. A chime will be heard on success
----Also available via a Soft DIP. Scroll to the next screen to access.
--All announcer samples are included now
--End of stage jingles are swapped in live during gameplay and played on the YM2610 to avoid CD seeking (and also to save on needless PCM for such short jingles)

--Using the AES version of the game as a base.
--All announcer lines included. If you can make it to the end you can hear his goofy dialog.
--Many songs rerecorded, and several dropped due to being unnecessary.

-Spin Master-
--Z80 and YM2610 plays all BGM now. No CDDA!
----Hear for yourself how some YM2610 synth really sounds, and save on SD card space!
----You of course don't have to deal with late CD tracks playing, or waiting for seeking drives, if you're on an actual CD, and the music will continue to play even during load screens!
--All ADPCMB samples properly resampled and encoded for clear sound, speed, and levels.
--Game will obey Soft DIPs for the Bombs, Hero, and Life settings, which generally were left alone regardless of difficulty setting. They are left at their default AES values by default.

-Zed Blade-
--All CDDA rerecorded.
----This game really needed it! They went wild on those samples.
--Interstitial music is played on the YM2610, again saving seek times.
--Crashes are all fixed, and some safety measures are also put in just in case the timer interrupt does try to run away.
--DIPs for lives and credits are obeyed.

After trying the 2020 and 2023 Darksoft sets, the only result for me is mismatched CRC's and cue/bin's that have no bgm music when played. Is there some rare, specific set that is needed?

Seems there’s an issue with the cue files for eightman and zedblade. They will be updated soon. It’s not your files I don’t believe.

I'm having problems with this new version of Spin Master that doesn't use CDDA tracks.
When loading this new version of Spin Master in NeoCD SD Loader, an error screen appears. But if I load Zed Blade first, Spin Master will work.

I have the same issue with Spin Master. In the original script from IQ_132, it was fixable by removing the custom boot animation which I'm not sure that this new script can do. The Zed Blade workaround also worked for me though. Interesting find.

but Spinmaster presents an error of iso corrupt or truncated.

I believe that this will make it easier to analyze the data.
I also shared with you the link to the converted ISOs to run on FBNeo, since it only accepts cue+bin (unique) Mode 1/2352.
If you could check with him the CRCs expected and indicated by the tool, since apparently no one has managed to obtain the same CRCs.
If you could also pass on to him the id error that occurs when trying to run kotm on FBNeo.
