Was scouring craigslist while in town and came across this gem:
Drove 50 miles each way to pick it up. broke my back carrying it down a muddy hill. But I got it into my subaru:
Has some damage from usual wear and tear, prior owner seemed like he didn't really care for neo or took any pride in maintaining anything.
CPO is damaged:
Side screws on the left corners were loose and basically fell out. Upon further inspection the wood brace cracked so I am gluing it back together.
Also the CPO panel had been removed in the past as I found that 1 screw was replaced with a pc screw that didn't fit. I sourced the correct screws. Also the bolts that hold down the joysticks were missing nuts on two of four of each set. They were just resting in the slots due to gravity. I'm assuming it didn't come this way from the factory. Took care of that sourced some metric nuts from the basement and will eventually replace the buttons and joysticks with nicer stuff.
OTher that cosmetic and the aforementioned issues the machine works perfectly and there is no burn in on the small but awesome monitor. I have downloaded the tools posted last year to edit the memory card, and will mess around with that tonight.
All in all really awesome machine, that I am definitely glad to finally say I own one. Although, I might try and rewire the jamma connector with thicker wire, stereo speaker, a legit arcade power supply and purchase a working 1 slot and turn this into a legit non-emulated machine.
