Two things to take heed of for the whiners:
1 - Neo games are late 80s and 90s-style arcade games so they walk the thin fine line between fun and frustration in order to give the player an incentive to keep coming back and pumping coins into the cab. No tutorials, it does not take you by the hand and guide you through the big bad world but bites you in the ass and sucks you dry of money, just with style, and you gonna love it. Ah, uhm, that is, we learned to love it back in the day, not sure about the current gen, tho. Let's see.
2 - Neo fighters, as any other 2D fighters of back in the day, are predominantly meant to be played in 2P. Versus fighting, etc. Sure, they all have a 1P mode and specially the later ones are quite good but the meat is in 2P, that is what the dev'ers have worked for the hardest and this is what the games first and foremost should be judged and rated for. I know it can be tricky to get some ppl off their arses and make them play the games with you but trust me, it's worth it. Sitting in the same room, on the same sofa and playing the good shit with good ppl will always beat online gaming in my world.
