What kind of name is “Potion Sword Run” anyway? I’m gonna guess all the good bands are taken due to the overwhelming glut of gaming YouTube guys?
Should that not be, "Pork Sword Run"?

Can we just bathe in the warm glowing glow, that ANALogue didn't get out of the gate first with something similar? I was just feeling this particular joy and had to share. It would've muddied the waters and none of this would happen IMO.

100% quite amazed SNK beat them on timing, de facto cutting them off completely at this point with whatever “re-imagination” of the AES they had in mind to release in whatever future.

Its glorious

I remember this channel. I think he appeared sometime around the start of covid and started buying up neo geo stuff en masse and seemed to inspire some other channels to do the same. He and other channels like NeoGeoNow (which originally seemed to have a Street Fighter focus at first) went with a focus on the Neo around then and haven’t looked back. I respect the hustle.

Like it or not, in addition to the forums here, channels like this is where new fans will turn to for news and updates as the system and games gain more exposure.

As always, I’m rooting for Neo Alec’s channel to gain more subscribers as I find his research to be top notch and hope newer fans find his content.

I haven’t seen the neo in the spotlight like this since 2012…

Hey, thanks by the way.

If you look at Ness's collection, he's always been pretty legit. He's not just a poser like a lot of these guys.

Judging by the first 10 titles I don't think we will be seeing too many early titles for a while. So far they've got magician lord and ... Over top... So maybe they continue this trend where they include a couple oldies and then fill the rest up with more popular titles.
It seems like they have mainly focussed on genre specific titles that happen to be mostly rare. If they do this for the next batch as well, who know what we'll get? I'm hoping nam 1975, slug 3, blazing star, kof 98, mutation nation or robo army, sengoku 3, raging dragon/matrimelee, last resort and cyber lip. Also fatal fury games but we'll see!

Maybe it was all an Atari decision, but there's a possibility they might go the dipswitch route for some multi-game cart releases of games that couldn't justify a full print run on their own. Maybe something like a FF2/FFS or WH2/WH2J release.

Literally they can buy the Japanese versions from Amazon Japan and with shipping included they cost same as buying in EU/US (for some reasons in Japan these cost less)

*en masse

Haven't the French bootleggers suffered enough with the AES+ announcement?
