I think the difference in weight will be funny. I honestly expect a tiny PCB with a flashrom or 2 on it (which is fine to me, I am not expecting Mask ROMs). Something like this:

People's expectations are getting a little out of control if they are expecting Naomi games to get "demade" and ported to Neo Geo. Not sure how you would control something like CvS2 with 4 buttons either, since I heard that game mentioned also

Combo button presses for heavy attacks like Sam Sho 1 and 2.

That's the easiest problem to solve. Demaking the game down to Neo hardware would be a massive pain in the ass, and a lot of work for little return.

I just don't get why people want worse versions of games.

I wouldn't be surprised if they throw a small weight in the cart just to add some heft.
Mask Roms with massive pcbs would cost more. It would be cool to see but in 2026 it just wouldn't make sense.
